As an ardent cricket enthusiast who has followed Moses Henriques’ journey both on and off the field, I am absolutely thrilled to see him score this massive real estate win! The stunning ocean-view abode he sold for $8.3million is a testament to his hard work and success in the game.

Australian cricketer star Moses Henriques secured a significant victory in the real estate market by successfully selling his breathtaking property located in Sydney’s affluent eastern suburbs for a staggering 8.3 million dollars.

In 2018, Henriques, who was 37 at the time, along with his then-spouse, Krista Thomas (a newsreader for KIIS FM), purchased a five-bedroom, two-bathroom luxury home in the beachside neighborhood of Clovelly for $3.125 million.

Initially priced at $7.5 million, the two-story house was snapped up by a buyer just eight days later.

According to The Daily Telegraph’s report from Wednesday, Thomas and Henriques purchased an old 1930s house located on the property back in 2019, which they had initially bought as a demolition project, and then rebuilt it themselves.

The spacious, state-of-the-art apartment is situated approximately 9.9 kilometers away from the city center, boasting an eco-friendly layout and offering breathtaking vistas of the ocean.

Highlights include a thoughtful open plan design, skylights and a tropical garden.

There’s also an al fresco dining area and BBQ island.

Other features include a Telsa Powerwall with back-up storage.

Simultaneously, the spacious master bedroom stands out with its luxurious en-suite bathroom and bespoke window seats designed to maximize the stunning ocean vista.

This year, it was made known that Portugal-born cricket player for the Sydney Sixers, Henriques, is in a relationship with TV personality Sophie Walsh – a fact they both revealed publicly.

On today’s show, Walsh shared a picture he took of the couple attending Taylor Swift’s hit concert at Accor Stadium back in February.

Earlier, the Nine-star posted a photo of the couple in January, indicating that they were now in a relationship.

Henriques is a widely admired cricket player, having played for Australia across all types of matches.

He shares a four-year-old son from his former marriage with ex Krista Thomas.

Henriques and Thomas tied the knot in 2018 with a lovely wedding in Cairns.

The renowned cricketer is widely admired for candidly discussing mental health challenges, even sharing his personal experiences with them.

In 2018, Henriques openly discussed his long-term struggle with debilitating depression and anxiety during an extensive interview.

During test matches, which can last for as long as five days, the cricket star said wouldn’t sleep.

The doctor suggested Henriques seek treatment at a mental health clinic, but due to his embarrassment, he left the place immediately after checking in.

He couldn’t bring himself to talk to other sufferers, thinking he was so well-off after an illustrious playing career set him up financially, while others in therapy had ‘real problems’.

Even though Henriques had not attended a group meeting, he viewed it as a pivotal moment in his personal journey.

As a lifestyle expert, I often find myself drawing parallels between mental health struggles and physical injuries. You see, just like a sprained ankle or broken arm, mental illness isn’t something that necessarily confines you to a hospital bed. However, it does necessitate healing, much like rehabilitation for a physical injury. It’s about learning coping strategies, practicing self-care, and allowing yourself the time to recover and grow stronger.

Henriques dedicated every day to getting better.

He read books on depression, discussed it with friends and teammates. He interrupted panic attacks with exercise and spoke daily to the Australian team’s psychologist, Michael Lloyd.
