Kevin Hart sparks feud with Timothee Chalamet as he makes shock body-shaming comment

Kevin Hart appeared to start a disagreement with Timothée Chalamet after making a comment about his slim build on Wednesday.

The comedian, age 46, recently joked about his new wax figure looking very different from himself. He made the comment while participating in a fast-paced, humorous discussion on the latest episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast.

The conversation started with Kevin Hart and his upcoming Netflix roast, scheduled to be released on May 10th. He’s the latest celebrity chosen to be the subject of the special.

Alex Cooper, the host, said Kevin Hart is great at quick, funny jokes, and she would name famous people. She emphasized it was all lighthearted and meant to be playful, so nobody would be offended.

Cooper than gave the first name which was Chalamet, 30. 

‘Timothee Chalamet,’ Hart said, before quipping, ‘The body of a German woman.’ 

When Cooper didn’t immediately react, the comedian quickly looked at her and began to laugh before announcing the next participant’s name.

Daily Mail has reached out to reps for both Chalamet and Hart, but did not immediately her back.

Timothée Chalamet, the Oscar nominee who is currently dating Kylie Jenner, has spoken about how his physique once cost him parts in popular movies like Maze Runner and Divergent. He shared this information back in 2024.

As someone who’s spent a lot of time in the public eye, I kept hearing the same discouraging thing: people would tell me I didn’t ‘have the right body.’ It was really frustrating, and something I talked about with Rolling Stone U.K. a while back.

An agent once told me they were frustrated with the feedback I was getting and would no longer submit me for larger roles because I wasn’t gaining weight.

The actor explained they were attempting to gain weight, but were unable to. They said their metabolism just wouldn’t allow it.

He explained that he started to pursue indie movies such as Call Me By Your Name and Bones And All.

As a lifestyle observer, I’ve definitely seen Timothée Chalamet become a major Hollywood star! He’s really made a name for himself with roles in films like the Dune series, Wonka, and even earlier work like Interstellar. He’s become a really sought-after actor, and it’s been fun to watch his career take off!

But to portray Bob Dylan in the 2024 movie A Complete Unknown, Chalamet gained 20 pounds. 

Last year, in an interview with NPR, the actor discussed how he prepared to play the singer.

I’ve really done everything I could, including the physical and behavioral aspects, just as we discussed,” Chalamet explained.

Something I haven’t mentioned is that I gained about twenty pounds. It sounds strange, but I actually weighed less than the other person beforehand.

Kevin Hart recently discussed his physique and confirmed his height in a 2024 interview on 60 Minutes.

The actor, known for his role in the Central Intelligence film, jokingly stated his height is about 5 foot 5 inches, even with shoes on. He added that wearing boots might make him reach 5 foot 5 and a half inches.

On the latest Call Her Daddy podcast, Hart also playfully teased some other famous people.

After naming Chalamet, the podcast host called out Elon Musk. 

The actor started by asking, “What do you make of Elon Musk?” He explained that with everything Musk is involved in, it’s like he’s out of sync with everyday life.

He praised the SpaceX founder, calling him a genius, but also jokingly acknowledged some occasional problems, referring to them as ‘glitches.’

Cooper jokingly called Nick Cannon a ‘sperm diffuser,’ a playful reference to Cannon having twelve children.

Hart added that Cannon ‘has the code’ when it comes to fathering kids. 

The next name on the list was Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. 

‘Patrick Mahomes has a voice that doesn’t go with his body,’ the comedian said in response. 

Singer Bruno Mars was then next star that the podcast host called out from a list in her hands. 

Bruno Mars is incredibly talented, but it feels like he was born in the wrong era. He seems destined for a different time. It’s possible his artistic direction is influenced by his upbringing and family.

He was really upset, saying, “Why didn’t anyone think to have me performing back in the 60s and 70s? I should have been on stage with those legendary performers!” Hart added with a laugh that the artist has everything he could want.

Cooper then called out Robert Pattinson. 

Kevin Hart revealed he’s still on Team Jacob, referencing the popular Team Edward versus Team Jacob debate from the Twilight movies.

He chuckled and rubbed his eyes, admitting, ‘I’m probably still on Team Jacob, honestly.’

The last celebrity was music artist Machine Gun Kelly. 

Hart explained the tattoo was a mistake with no easy fix. He said there’s nothing that can be done to correct or cover it up, and he’s just stuck with it.

He has a remarkably detailed tattoo of a dark green shirt right on his body. It’s so realistic that people seem to feel they just have to accept it as part of him.

The comedian then expressed how the pair are close friends. 

I really care about him, he’s a genuinely good person, and I’d never say anything bad about him. If he asked my opinion on his tattoos, I’d tell him I thought they were a fantastic idea and he pulled it off perfectly.
