Playing with friends in Neverness to Everness makes exploring the city even more enjoyable! While you can’t yet race or team up on missions, the multiplayer system is a fun addition. This guide will show you how to unlock and start playing with friends, and explain what you can do together in the game.

How to Unlock Multiplayer in Neverness to Everness

You’ll automatically unlock multiplayer as you play. Just finish the tutorial and level up your Hunter to level 8, and you’ll be ready to play with others.

After a bit of playtime, you’ll automatically unlock the option to play with others through your in-game phone. You don’t need to complete any specific task – just keep enjoying the game!

How to Play Co-op with your Friends and Other Players

Follow these steps to start playing with your friends or other players:

Reach Hunter Level 8: This unlocks multiplayer mode and adds friends’ access to the in-game phone system.
Open the In-Game Phone: It appears on the right side of your screen, which contains multiple menu options.
Go to Multiplayer Menu: Navigate to Page 2 and tap the Multiplayer button (next to the Tutorial option).
Search for Your Friend: A search bar appears at the top. Enter your friend’s UID.
Send Invite: Once your friend appears in search results, send them an invite to join your world or request access to theirs.
Start Playing Together: Once they accept, they’ll join your world, or you can join theirs.

We’re currently experiencing a bug that’s preventing players from connecting in Multiplayer mode. We’re working to fix it, and once it’s resolved, you’ll be able to join other players’ worlds again.

Everything you can do in Neverness to Everness Multiplayer Mode

Even though the system is limited, there are still plenty of things to do.

Drive and Explore together

Right now, we can enjoy car rides with friends and explore the city without a worry. It’s a great time to just relax and hang out with your friends.

Cause chaos without consequences

When playing with others, you can take cars from computer-controlled characters and cause chaos without any police intervention. This makes cooperative play a relaxed and enjoyable free-for-all. We’re not sure yet if this is intentional or an accidental glitch.

Limitations of Neverness to Everness Multiplayer Mode

These are some things we can’t do in multiplayer mode:

At this moment, we can race with our friends.
Completing Anomaly Hunting Commissions is impossible in multiplayer mode.
We can’t complete the mission in this mode.

Basically, multiplayer is more about fun interaction than progression.

Final Thoughts

Neverness to Everness’s multiplayer is new and currently emphasizes hanging out and having fun with others over complex team-based challenges. You can’t play missions or races together yet, but exploring, driving around, and just generally causing trouble with friends is already a great experience.

The game’s multiplayer is still developing, and we anticipate the developers will add more engaging cooperative experiences in the future. Right now, it’s best enjoyed as a relaxing change of pace from playing alone and a great way to have some fun with friends.
