I’m A Celeb winner Adam Thomas risks being blacklisted from ITV after claiming he was ‘exploited’ – as Ant and Dec reveal what happened with David Haye and Jimmy Bullard after chaotic live final

Adam Thomas believes ITV took advantage of him while filming the finale of I’m A Celebrity… South Africa, and his comments could lead to him being excluded from future work with the network.

The TV star won the most recent season of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’, but his victory was marred by a tense disagreement with fellow contestants David Haye and Jimmy Bullard, which happened during the live final on Friday night.

Recent remarks from brothers Adam, Scott, and Ryan on their weekly Thomas Bros podcast have led to speculation about their future with ITV.

Adam, 37, described his experience in the jungle as very upsetting, explaining that he felt used and that his feelings were visible during the final live show.

Even though he won with a significant 51% of the public vote, he said he felt deeply troubled by the experience. He stated he wouldn’t repeat it for any amount of money, even £10 million, and that it wasn’t worth the hardship he endured.

During a frank conversation on the podcast, the TV star became emotional and started crying. She explained that she used to enjoy watching the show with her children, but now it would be too painful, as it would remind her of a difficult time in her life.

You know, after seeing everything unfold, Scott was really focused on ITV taking the heat. He kept saying it wasn’t about me or what I did, but that all the campmates were frustrated with the network, and ITV needed to be held accountable. He was adamant it was their responsibility, not mine.

Those shows are incredibly harsh and competitive – they can really tear you apart. That’s just the nature of the beast; it’s a high-pressure environment. What happened wasn’t your fault, it was how ITV handled things.

The brothers’ harsh comments have brought a lot of attention to their YouTube channel. Since posting a video yesterday, their follower count has increased from 39,000 to 41,500.

According to a source, Adam is very angry and doesn’t want to share his side of the story with ITV.

This week, while Adam’s fellow contestants Sinitta and Scarlett Moffat have been talking about the show on ITV programs like Good Morning Britain and Loose Women, Adam has avoided appearing on camera.

He didn’t appear on the I’m a Celebrity spin-off show, Unpacked, which features interviews with contestants after they leave the jungle.

The controversy surrounding “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!” has caused problems for ITV, including over 1,200 complaints filed with Ofcom. Recent reports indicate that ITV isn’t planning to make another series of the show.

A representative stated to the Daily Mail that the program accurately portrays what life is like in the camp.

We prioritize the well-being of our contestants. We provide support to celebrities throughout the entire process to ensure they are well cared for.

The production team keeps an eye on everyone at camp, and if anyone acted inappropriately, we would step in.

Ant and Dec, the hosts of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, have denied reports of a heated argument with David Haye and James Bullard after Friday’s episode.

On their podcast, ‘Hanging Out with Ant and Dec,’ Declan Donnelly shared a memory of talking to David Haye after the incident. He remembered Haye excitedly asking, ‘Wasn’t that amazing?’

We definitely talked about TV. It wasn’t amazing, but we had a good time and enjoyed ourselves.

I walked away and saw Jimmy Bullard, so I shook his hand and told him to take care. He said ‘yeah, cheers’ a few times in return.

‘So there was no confrontation. I wasn’t flanked by two security guards.’

McPartlin mentioned that he ran into David Haye, who jokingly asked, “So, how about that? Hopefully, it gets good ratings.”

It was revealed on Monday that David Haye intends to take legal action against ITV, claiming the broadcast footage harmed his reputation and brand.

He reportedly asked his lawyers to contact ITV and is requesting a thorough review of how the show was edited.

As a big fan of the show, I was really disappointed to see David Haye’s behavior. It felt like he was unfairly coming down hard on Adam during filming last year, and honestly, a lot of viewers – myself included – were upset by some of the things he said about women. It just didn’t sit right with me.

The Sun reports that the former athlete believes the show’s editors intentionally portrayed him as the bad guy.

He’s seeking financial compensation – potentially up to £10 million, according to his lawyers – for lost income caused by negative publicity about him.

According to a source, Haye had been discussing a potential show with Netflix, but those plans didn’t work out. It’s also believed that other sponsorship opportunities have been put on hold.

Daily Mail has contacted a representative for further comment.
