Call of Duty Mobile has launched its Season 4 update, called Eternal Prison, in April 2026. This season introduces the popular Rebirth Island map to both Battle Royale and DMZ: Recon modes, expanding the gameplay experience.

Season 4 is coming on April 22, 2026, and features a team-up with Godzilla and Kong! It also includes a new Battle Pass, the DP27 LMG weapon, a new Toxic Overload class for Battle Royale, and several seasonal events with lots of rewards. Here’s a complete look at what’s new this season.

Rebirth Island arrives in DMZ

Rebirth Island is now available in DMZ: Recon, offering a new way to play the extraction mode within the famous prison. The map has been visually enhanced with updated locations and improvements that benefit both DMZ and Battle Royale players.

High danger zones and prison access

The prison is the most dangerous area, where the fiercest battles happen. Unlike in Battle Royale, you have to flip switches to unlock the prison gates. When you do, a timer starts, and all the gates open briefly before locking again for a while.

New extraction system and boss fight

Now, leaving Rebirth Island requires activating two different terminals to start the process. The first time you try to leave during a match, you’ll face a boss fight against Nikto, who uses a shield and gets help from above. After that first fight, all other extractions will be done using the normal helicopters.

Additional features and hazards

During matches, a submarine patrols the island and can fire missiles at players who get too close, creating a new threat. As the match goes on, a dangerous radiation zone expands across the map, forcing players to head for the prison in the center to stay safe.

This mode adds top-level loot made from rare materials, and a new crafting system where you can combine those materials to create powerful gear to help you on your next adventures.

Rebirth Island is now available in Battle Royale with a fresh look and some gameplay tweaks. You can now respawn endlessly as long as at least one member of your squad is still alive, which should make matches last longer.

The game now offers more ways to play with additions like UAV Towers, Contracts, and Buy Stations, giving players more strategic choices. Players can also purchase powerful Killstreaks, such as Bomb Drones and Precision Airstrikes, during a match. To celebrate success, winning squads will now see a special victory animation when they finish a match.

Operation Rebirth

This event lets you discover Rebirth Island in both DMZ and Battle Royale by finishing challenges that unlock different parts of the map. As you complete these tasks, you’ll get rewards, from small Secret Caches to bigger items like a special Charly Operator skin and the Axe — Canvassed melee weapon.

Godzilla x Kong event

Season 4 introduces a big team-up with the Monsterverse, offering rewards themed around Godzilla, Kong, and Shimo. Complete missions to collect Hollow Earth energy, which you’ll use in a special mini-game to unlock even more goodies. Rewards include the blueprint for the ASM10 — Frost Bite, the Grinch — Rimebound Operator Skin, and the Legendary Purifier — Shimo’s Might.

Cache Frenzy returns

Cache Frenzy is back! Complete challenges to earn Secret Caches, which you can then use to unlock cool items. This time, you can get the unique Legendary PP19 Bizon – Mayan Malediction skin, as well as rewards that were available in the past.

Throughout the season, players can earn extra rewards like cosmetic items and blueprints. These often include special themed items for holidays and events, such as Mother’s Day.

The Eternal Prison Battle Pass offers a variety of content, including futuristic, modern, and themed items, available in both free and paid versions.

Battle Pass Free Tiers

The DP27 LMG is the main free reward, known for its powerful damage and large ammo capacity, making it great for continuous firing. As you play, you can also unlock extra cosmetic skins, weapon blueprints, and Vault Coins.

Premium Pass Tiers

Earn awesome rewards like special Operator Skins inspired by kaiju hunters! These include skins for Surf Warrior (Kaiju Recon), Syd (Game Warden), Polina (High Bitrate), and Vanguard (Deepwater Elite).

New weapon designs, including the Type 19 — Scavenged, SVD — Specimen Tracker, PDW57 — Wrought Cargo, and DP27 — Gilded Huntsman, have been added, all fitting the season’s overall style.

This season’s exciting addition is the Toxic Overload Battle Royale class, letting you control the battlefield by spreading radiation that slows down and harms your opponents.

You can also earn extra rewards, such as weapon designs like the AGR 556 — Orbital Station, and special cosmetics that are only available this season.

Store Update: New Mythic Weapon, Godzilla x Kong

In Season 4, a new dungeon called the Necrotic Reliquary will be added, along with a new playable character, the Wicht Warden, both available through a special event draw.

The latest Godzilla x Kong event in the game features new character outfits called Operator Skins, themed after both Titans. Players can unlock armor inspired by Godzilla for Cassius and a Kong-inspired skin called Cosmic Silverback — B.E.A.S.T.. The in-game store also has other themed items available, and three previous Battle Passes—In Deep Water, Radical Raid, and Fool’s Gold—are returning to the Vault.
