Clash Royale is preparing for its next season in May 2026. Although the official theme for Season 83 hasn’t been announced, recent previews have given us a good idea of what to expect. Clash Royale Season 83 Overview
Season 83 builds on the recent focus on Heroes. TV Royale announced that two new playable characters are coming, along with a quicker Album Event. Players can also look forward to fresh competitive challenges, like a new league and tournament.
Hero Bowler
Hero Bowler now has a special ability called Siege Mode. When used, he’ll stop moving but gain a significantly longer attack range. This lets him damage both enemy troops and buildings from far away, functioning much like a Mortar.
While using this ability, the Hero Bowler can’t move, so careful positioning and timing are key. You’ll be able to get him through the Album Event.
Hero Dark Prince
The Hero Dark Prince has a unique ability: he splits into two when activated! One split is a charging rhino that targets buildings, while the other is the Dark Prince himself, who stays back to defend with a shield and deal area-of-effect damage. You’ll be able to unlock him through the Pass Royale.
Free and Diamond Pass Royale Overview
Clash Royale’s Season 83 will likely continue with its current Pass Royale system, offering both a free and a paid (Diamond) pass with rewards that improve as you play and reach higher Arenas. While the specific rewards haven’t been announced, they’re expected to be similar to previous seasons.

As of now, it’s unclear if players will be able to choose between the two Heroes. The Hero Bowler is anticipated to be included in the upcoming Albums event.
With the upgraded Pass, you’ll receive a Champion card, potentially up to 7 Legendary cards, and over 400 Epic cards based on your gameplay and chest rewards. The free Pass doesn’t offer the chance to earn Champion or Legendary cards.
