Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were spotted on a rare outing together in New York City on Thursday.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, both 39, were spotted walking through the city looking chic in similar, roomy coats and leather handbags with a crocodile pattern.

For her casual luncheon look, Mary-Kate left her dark blonde hair down in subtle beach waves.

Oh my gosh, she was wearing this amazing long, black trench coat, seriously, it was perfect! And she had this cute little handbag with it. It was such a cool look, especially because her sister Ashley went for the complete opposite style – totally different vibes, but both of them looked incredible, obviously.

Ashley pulled her hair back into a low ponytail and wrapped a black scarf around her neck as she prepared for their Wednesday meeting.

Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin, known from Full House, recently reunited on the red carpet at the CFDA Fashion Awards. They both wore vintage sunglasses and shared the same cheerful smiles while saying hello to a friend outside a restaurant.

This news follows comments from Jodie Sweetin, who recently shared how she’s stayed in touch with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen since their popular show, Full House, ended in 1995.

When Full House first aired in 1987, Sweetin had already begun filming the show at age five, while the Olsen twins were just six months old.

Jodie Sweetin, who is now 44 years old, shared that she became very close with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen while working with them on the show over its eight seasons.

Sweetin shared on The McBride Rewind Podcast that she was very fond of the Olsen twins, but they lost touch after the twins relocated to New York City.

She shared that the cast came back together around four years ago after the death of their television father, Bob Saget, in 2022.

I spent a lot of time with Ashley and Mary-Kate, often going to their room to hang out and play.

Sweetin remembers the Olsen twins often stayed over at her house after they finished filming for the day.

She said they used to visit her family’s cabin on weekends. They’d often go horseback riding and visit Disneyland together.

You know, looking back at my childhood, I stumbled upon some adorable photos of my sister and me. We used to love playing dress-up at home – she was about three and I was six – just typical kid stuff, really. It was such a sweet time, and I absolutely adored it!

She said that they ‘haven’t talked’ in the three decades since the show wrapped.

She explained that although they gradually grew distant, there wasn’t any animosity or conflict between them.

She remembered people often asking if they used to be close and if something had gone wrong. She explained that they were only eight years old when the show ended.

Things just weren’t the same between us after a while, she told me. We’d still see each other at family gatherings, and honestly, there was never any real falling out. But when they moved to New York and started building their fashion business, they got swept up in that whole world. It just meant we slowly lost touch, and drifted apart, you know?

After Bob Saget passed away, when the cast of Full House got back together, Jodie Sweetin described it as feeling exactly like old times.

She explained that it felt normal, like nothing had shifted. They’d all been together for about four days, constantly, and it was as if no time had passed at all.
