LEGO and Star Wars are adding a new set to their Ultimate Collector Series: a detailed, 1,809-piece model of Din Djarin’s unique starship from The Mandalorian.
The N-1 Starfighter model is built using a unique approach, moving away from typical grey LEGO bricks. It features 53 metallic silver, drum-lacquered pieces to accurately recreate the brushed chrome look of the ship from The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. These special pieces are mostly on the front and nose, giving it a high-quality, realistic shine that looks better than standard plastic.
This starfighter model is quite large, measuring 67cm long, 39cm wide, and 21cm high. It’s built with a clever ball-joint system that connects the outer shell to the main frame, giving it a solid but naturally curved shape and preventing any loose or drooping panels. The engines showcase advanced building techniques, and are connected to the wings with strong pins, revealing detailed mechanical parts and intentionally missing panels – giving the ship a customized, high-performance “hot rod” look.
The set also includes a Mandalorian minifigure with detailed printing on the arms and legs, plus a Grogu figure. The ship comes with a strong black stand that lets you display it in two ways: either showing off its long shape from the side, or facing forward for a more dynamic, action-packed look.
The LEGO UCS N-1 Starfighter will be available starting May 1st for LEGO Insiders members, and will be widely released on May 4th through the LEGO website and official stores.
