Channing Tatum posted a puzzling poem to Instagram on Monday that touched on themes of anxiety and ‘divorce.’ This came just four days after his former fiancée, Zoe Kravitz, announced her engagement to Harry Styles.

John Roedel’s poem, “My Brain And Heart Divorced,” vividly illustrates the toll anxiety takes on both your mental and physical health, describing a disconnect between your thoughts, feelings, and body.

The post started with a heartbreaking confession: ‘Ten years ago, my mind and emotions split because they couldn’t agree on who was responsible for the struggles I’m facing.’

They grew so distant they couldn’t even be around each other anymore. Now, I feel torn between my logic and my emotions. I live with my head—my rational side—during the week, but my heart takes over on weekends. The two parts of me don’t communicate at all.

I was so sad to hear that Channing and Zoe broke up! He just turned 46 on Sunday, and after being engaged and together for three years, they decided to call it off back in October 2024. It’s always tough when couples split, and I really thought they had something special.

Harry Styles, the 32-year-old British singer, proposed to Zoë Kravitz, whose parents are Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz, with a stunning yellow diamond ring. The oval-shaped ring is estimated to be worth around $1 million and is 10 carats.

I’m looking for a meaningful life filled with strong relationships – close friendships and a family, specifically. Recognizing that these things don’t just appear, I started thinking about what I needed to do to make room for them in my life. I realized I couldn’t just wait for them to happen on their own.

Styles went on to talk about the importance of building a future with the ‘right person’.

Honestly, what I adore about them is they see the best version of me, the person I’m striving to be, and they expect that! It’s not about just accepting my flaws – and sure, understanding is great – but I want to grow beyond them. I want to be better, and they believe I can be, and that’s everything to me.

‘So when you challenge me on something. It’s a gift to me, actually,’ he said.

In 2021, Zoe personally chose Channing to play the role of wealthy tech entrepreneur Slater King in her first film as director, Blink Twice. The movie went on to earn $48.1 million worldwide.

Kravitz had recently gone through a divorce from actor Karl Glusman, ending their marriage of only 18 months.
