Oh my gosh, Maya Jama and Ruben Dias are EVERYTHING! I’m seriously obsessed with how happy they looked on Instagram – all those photos from Rome were just too cute. They looked so loved-up and cozy together, it was honestly making me swoon! Seriously, relationship goals right there.
The 31-year-old TV star showed off her amazing physique in a tiny bikini before planning to explore the sights with delicious Italian wine and tiramisu.
Maya stunned in a white two-piece outfit, sharing a mirror selfie before changing into stylish clothes for a walk around town with a 28-year-old Manchester City footballer.
The couple, who started dating in late 2024, toured the Vatican and the Coliseum before heading back to their luxurious hotel, which costs £1,500 per night.
Maya captioned the post: ‘Can you tell I love it here’.
This follows Maya Jama, the host of Love Island, speaking out about the disagreement that happened during the live finale of I’m A Celebrity… South Africa on Friday.
The final episode of I’m A Celebrity’s spin-off show featured the remaining contestants returning to the studio to find out who would be named the ultimate jungle champion.
Oh my god, the finale was INSANE! I was watching and couldn’t believe my eyes! David Haye just lost it at Adam Thomas, it was so shocking! And then Jimmy Bullard went off on Ant and Dec, claiming they’d cut stuff out – honestly, the drama! But the best (or worst!) part? Both Sinitta and Gemma Collins just walked off stage! Walked off! I was screaming at the TV, it was absolute chaos and I lived for every second of it!
TV personality Maya shared a funny video compilation and commented, ‘I haven’t seen the full thing, but even from this short clip…”
I really enjoy live TV, especially hosting the aftershow, because so few channels take the risk anymore. People crave genuine, unedited reactions – a pre-recorded show just can’t compare to the excitement of a live broadcast! And a big shout-out to Ant and Dec – I’m a lifelong fan!
Many replied to her tweet with their thoughts on the matter.
British TV really shines with its unscripted, raw moments. Live television especially creates a unique and exciting energy. For example, the recent LI Allstars final was great – when Kyra confronted Jack, Ant & Dec navigated the situation perfectly, even though it was a bit confusing at first.
Viewers of Love Island and other live TV shows are craving more unscripted, chaotic moments. Many feel that seeing real drama, even conflict, and celebrities being authentic – flaws and all – would revitalize British television. There’s a strong desire for the unpredictable excitement that only live TV can deliver.
At the very end of the show, Jimmy was allowed to address a situation involving Adam, who reportedly used a highly offensive slur during a heated argument that led to the program being cut short last year.
I was really surprised to hear Jimmy had to leave the jungle. He explained it was for personal reasons, and it came out that he wouldn’t have gotten his full salary if he hadn’t said ‘I’m A Celebrity’ during that challenge. It’s a bit of a strange situation, but I understand everyone has their reasons.
Jimmy acknowledged he upset people, particularly Adam, and admitted he’d made a mistake by potentially harming someone’s reputation. However, he firmly stated he won’t tolerate abusive, aggressive, or intimidating behavior.
Jimmy turned to Ant and Dec, asking why they hadn’t shown the footage, saying, ‘You were both there, and we didn’t see any of it.’
‘You didn’t show any of the C-bombs, it’s a liberty’, Jimmy fumed.
Ant explained they didn’t broadcast the offensive language because it’s not allowed on air. He also clarified that he was present during the incident and didn’t find it threatening, reiterating to Jim that he witnessed it firsthand.
Adam stated that he fully accepts responsibility for what happened, and acknowledged that strong emotions were involved at the time.
I genuinely care about Jimmy and feel for him. I’ve apologized to him many times, and I’m listening to his concerns. All I can do now is offer another apology.
I wasn’t comfortable presenting myself that way, and I haven’t done so before or since. I apologize, Jimmy.
David made a joking comment, but Ant and Dec quickly told him to stop talking over them.
David explained that he prefers to be honest and straightforward. He believes things have been manipulated to portray Adam as a victim in order to gain public sympathy.
There was a lot of playful arguing between us, and a good portion of it wasn’t shown. But now, I believe it’s time to reveal what really happened.
Sinitta angrily left the stage and confronted the audience, telling them they didn’t understand how intense and upsetting the situation had been. She described feeling shaken by the experience, saying it had been aggressive and abusive.
Okay, so here’s the deal – I’ve seen a lot of disagreements, and what happened here was a real breakdown in communication. Someone apologized, but it wasn’t enough. The core issue wasn’t just what was said, but how it was delivered. It’s not enough to simply say something wasn’t aggressive or intimidating; you need to show it. Transparency is key – let everyone see the interaction, let them be the judge. Playing it back allows everyone to understand exactly what happened and how it was perceived. It’s about owning the impact of your words, not just the intention behind them.
Ant and Dec wrapped up: ‘Right, let’s leave it there. We’ll agree to disagree Jim.’
During the broadcast footage of the heated argument, Adam was visibly upset with his co-star, yelling, “Jimmy, are you kidding me? I’m in there getting covered in ants!”
Jimmy replied: ‘Woah, calm down. That’s pathetic.’
Craig and some of his fellow actors later said that Adam repeatedly used a highly offensive swear word during filming, though these instances weren’t included in the final cut.
