Celebrity stylist Leslie Fremar says she was the real-life inspiration for a character in the book that formed the basis for the movie The Devil Wears Prada. The book drew from author Lauren Weisberger’s experiences as an assistant to Vogue editor Anna Wintour, who is widely believed to be the model for the film’s demanding editor, Miranda Priestly. Fremar worked under Wintour for eight months.
