ChillyRoom, the creators of the popular Soul Knight games, has announced pre-registration for their new roguelike card RPG, Abyssal Soul, on Android and iOS. They previously tested an early version of the game in May 2025 and haven’t shared updates until now.
Get ready to outplay enemies by predicting their card sequences
Okay, so you might not have heard of Abyssal Soul – it kinda went silent after the beta. Basically, it’s a roguelike card RPG, but it does things a little differently. It’s not just what cards you play, but the order you play them in that really matters. What’s really neat is that instead of using energy to play cards, you actually sacrifice the next few cards in your hand – so you have to think carefully about each play!
Chilly’s card RPG, Abyssal Soul, which hasn’t been updated since its beta test last year, is coming back online! You can pre-register starting April 30th. More details are available for iOS users at the provided link.

Choose from 15 different heroes, each belonging to one of four classes, and customize your strategy with over 700 cards, blessings, runes, and amulets. The game seems designed to avoid feeling repetitive, as every playthrough will be unique thanks to the different class abilities and the many possible combinations of items and effects.
During combat, you can freely reorder your cards and peek at the enemy’s upcoming moves to strategize. The game seems very promising, combining Lovecraftian horror with beautiful, hand-drawn fantasy art, a unique system called Forerunner Legacy, character progression with multiple classes, and unpredictable, randomized elements like those found in Roguelike games.
You can now pre-register for Abyssal Soul on Android and iOS! Pre-registering through the Google Play Store or App Store will get you special rewards when the game launches, including 10 Destiny Keys, 10 Seek Keys, and 3000 Secrets.
