Dragon Ball Officially Brings Back 2 Saiyans With Their Own Fusion

Fans around the world can now purchase figures of two incredibly strong, but often overlooked, Saiyans from ancient times.

The S.H.Figuarts Shallot and Giblet figures are now available for pre-order in both the U.S. and Europe through the official Bandai Namco Entertainment store. These figures are carefully made to capture the characters’ designs from Dragon Ball Legends, and were created with input from the late Akira Toriyama, the series’ creator.

Bandai Celebrates Dragon Ball Legends With New International Release for Giblet and Shallot

The S.H.Figuarts Shallot and Giblet action figures are both 5.7 inches tall. They include swappable parts so you can pose them in relaxed positions, fighting stances, and their Super Saiyan transformations.

The S.H.Figuarts Giblet figure from Bandai Namco Entertainment features a cloth coat with a built-in wire at the bottom, allowing for dynamic posing. The coat is also removable, letting you display Giblet in his battle outfit, as originally designed by Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball.

The Shallot figure comes with two different faceplates: a neutral expression and his signature grin. Its hair is specially colored with a pearl finish to emphasize his strong presence. Plus, it includes extra parts – a shouting face and a tail – so you can display Shallot in his powerful Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan form!

Several new characters entered the Dragon Ball universe when Dragon Ball Legends launched in 2018. This popular mobile fighting game features these powerful, ancient Saiyans traveling through time, with Shallot as the main character and a central figure in the Tournament of Time.

When Dragon Ball Legends was first released, it received mostly positive feedback from both critics and players. While it wasn’t a groundbreaking hit, it earned a score of 69/100 from Metacritic, based on professional reviews, and a 6.2/10 rating from players on the platform.

Since its launch, Dragon Ball Legends has consistently added fresh events with distinct settings and characters. In February, the game even made history by achieving a world record for the most playable characters – a total of 676 at that time.

Players of Dragon Ball Legends are excited about the new characters expected to be added to the game over the next year. Based on previous updates, it’s likely that characters and storylines from the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga in the Dragon Ball Super manga will be included soon.

The Giblet and Shallot S.H.Figuarts action figures are now available for purchase from Bandai Namco Entertainment’s official stores in both the U.S. and Europe.
