Okay, so I’m completely obsessed with Millie and Hugo, and I just saw the pictures! They were together at their little Sienna’s sixth birthday party! Can you believe it? It’s the first time we’ve seen them together since they announced their split months ago. I’m seriously hoping this means there’s a chance they might get back together! It just feels like there’s still something there, especially for Sienna’s sake. I’ve been following their story so closely, and this is HUGE!
Earlier this year, the Daily Mail reported that Made In Chelsea stars, parents to Sienna and four-year-old Aurelia, had split after seven years of being married.
I was absolutely gutted when I heard they officially filed for divorce. It felt like such a shock, even though rumors had been swirling. Apparently, they’ve both hired lawyers and are determined to just… move on, you know? A ‘clean break’ is what they’re aiming for, which breaks my heart a little, but at least they’re saying they’ll still be good parents together. It’s just… so sad!
Millie, 36, and Hugo, 39, shared a photo on Instagram with their daughter, who was having a KPop Demon Hunters-themed party. They affectionately referred to her as their ‘darling daughter’.
Sienna wore a costume, while Millie chose a fashionable outfit of a sparkly top and jeans. Hugo kept it simple with a casual green shirt.
She captioned the post with a gushing birthday tribute which read: ‘My baby is SIX’.
I can’t believe how quickly time has flown by. It seems like just yesterday we were in the newborn bubble, and now we have this amazing, funny, and kind little girl who constantly amazes me.
She shared that six years ago, while pregnant, she often wondered what the future held, especially what her daughter would be like after the pandemic. She’s watched her daughter go through many phases, from loving princess dresses to being into K-pop and edgy fashion, and she’s enjoyed every single one of them.
Turning six feels like a big milestone for her. She’s blossoming into such a confident and independent little person, truly embracing who she is. She brightens every day with her laughter, constantly surprises and touches my heart, and brings so much happiness and energy into our home.
To Sienna, Happy 6th Birthday! Being your mom is the greatest joy of my life, and you’ve brought so much happiness to me. I love you more than words can say, and I can’t wait to see what amazing things you do in the years to come.
Millie recently revealed in an interview that she used alcohol to cope before receiving an ADHD diagnosis, and also discussed her experiences with panic attacks.
This summer, the former reality star is marking four years of sobriety after giving up alcohol in 2022. She recently discovered she has ADHD, which went undiagnosed during her school years. This made education ‘really difficult’ for her, leading her to attend five different schools.
Millie started drinking in her early teens, and she’s said she used alcohol to hide her true self, hoping to appear more likable to others.
I remember her explaining how alcohol just seemed like the easiest thing to turn to when she was struggling. It wasn’t seen as odd or wrong – in fact, society almost encourages people to drink, to have a few to relax. It felt like the most readily available ‘medicine’ she could find, and nobody questioned it.
I finally felt my mind quiet down, like all the constant noise had stopped, and it was such a relief. I just wanted to hold onto that peaceful feeling, so I kept drinking, and I couldn’t seem to stop.
Millie said once she stopped drinking, she needed to ‘take the mask off’.
She explained on the ‘Spooning with Mark Wogan’ podcast that relying on alcohol to feel comfortable socializing can prevent you from discovering your true self. It’s easy to create a persona when you’re unsure of who you are, but that persona isn’t genuine.
Two years after giving up alcohol, Millie admitted her ADHD diagnosis to fans.
Millie recently told Women’s Health UK that she has to avoid alcohol altogether, explaining she’s unable to stop at just one drink.
When asked if she considered herself an alcoholic, she responded that it really depended on how someone defined the term.
I didn’t drink regularly, but when I did, I wanted to drink to excess – to keep going and going and going.
I know giving in to this desire is bad for my well-being, and it’s better for me to avoid it completely than to allow myself even a little bit.
The mother of two also shared details about her frightening panic attacks, explaining they cause her three distinct and overwhelming symptoms.
