Scarlett Moffatt shared a cute family photo on Thursday, revealing her growing baby bump and talking about how her pregnancy has been going.
The 35-year-old TV personality announced last week that she and her fiancé, Scott Dobinson, are expecting another baby. They already have a son, Jude, who was born in 2023.
She shared a sweet photo on Instagram of herself, her partner, and their baby on the way, all wearing matching outfits. She was proudly showing off her baby bump!
Oh my gosh, you guys, Scarlett just posted the cutest thing! She put up a poll asking us to guess if it’s a girl or a boy! She said we can try to figure it out by looking at where her baby bump is and… get this… she’s been craving cheese! Like, all the cheese! I’m already scouring the comments, trying to decipher every clue. It’s SO exciting, and I’m totally obsessed with trying to guess right!
She wrote: ‘My bump is very high this time and I started showing early from around 14 weeks.
I’ve been really wanting cheese lately – grated cheese, cheese toasties, even cheese scones! Seriously, I can’t get enough cheese.
The celebrity shared that she was touched by the lovely comments about her appearance, but admitted the first three months of her pregnancy had been quite difficult.
Scarlett described her pregnancy as ‘hellish,’ sharing that she’d experienced many typical pregnancy symptoms. She posted a slightly tired-looking selfie from bed to illustrate how she was feeling.
She responded to comments about looking good by saying the first three months of her pregnancy were really difficult, jokingly calling it ‘HELL’.
I was feeling unwell while working – I’d get brief bouts of sickness, then film while dealing with hot and cold sweats and migraines. So I’m finally able to accept compliments now, which I appreciate!
The TV star announced she’s expecting on Instagram, posting a sweet video of herself, her partner Scott, and their son Jude looking at the ultrasound picture.
She shared the exciting news in her caption, saying they were thrilled to announce they’re expecting a baby. After everything they’ve been through, they feel incredibly fortunate to be expanding their family.
We were so blessed with our sweet Jude, and now we’re thrilled to be adding to our family! He’s going to be a wonderful big brother, and we already know he’ll be fantastic at it. ❤️
We’re incredibly thankful and thrilled – honestly, we’re still processing everything! We feel more loved and happy than we ever imagined.
The former Gogglebox star has spoken openly about the difficult four years she spent trying to get pregnant before finally welcoming her son, Jude, in June 2023.
Earlier this month, Scarlett shared that she and Scott spent an entire day crying after experiencing a miscarriage in late 2024.
While appearing on I’m A Celebrity: All Stars, she told Sinitta about her miscarriage, explaining that she and her partner were grieving for the child they had hoped to have.
After Jude arrived, we really hoped for another baby and actually got pregnant again, but sadly we lost the baby. It was devastating. I’ll never forget how heartbroken we were – Scott’s parents kindly took Jude for the day, and Scott and I just stayed in bed, both of us crying. It was a really tough time.
It’s heartbreaking to think about them running down the stairs together at Christmas. Just picturing it is really difficult and upsetting.
Scarlett shared that losing a baby is like grieving for the future you pictured, and it’s incredibly heartbreaking.
She was overheard telling Sinitta that they should be thankful they’ve already achieved what they have.
Scarlett shared that she and her husband, Scott, spent four years trying to have their son, Jude. It was a long and difficult process.
‘And then the day we found out I was pregnant, the day after we were going to a fertility clinic.
It’s really common. I believe it’s because you don’t feel stressed in the moment, but you’re confident things will work out eventually.
‘I feel like then when you have one kid, everyone goes to you: “Are you having another?”
I often want to say yes, but things don’t always align. I’m just glad I have this one opportunity.
Scarlett recently shared that she experienced a miscarriage late last year, after having her son Jude. She explained that they had already announced the pregnancy to friends and family and were very happy about it.
We’d spent time dreaming about their future – things like running down the stairs together on Christmas morning as brother and sister. So, it’s natural to grieve not just the person you lost, but also the life you had pictured for them and for yourself.
Scarlett told The Sun that she was lying in bed with Scott when she realized she couldn’t cope with the pain of their relationship anymore. She suggested they end things, but agreed they should focus on enjoying time with their son, Jude.
It’s truly heartbreaking to see anyone go through something like that, and I admire their courage in continuing on afterwards, because experiences like that can be incredibly damaging to a person’s spirit.
Scarlett has previously discussed the difficult birth of her son, Jude, revealing she experienced substantial blood loss during labor.
She recently shared on the show Loose Women that despite not wanting one in her birth plan, she needed a blood transfusion during childbirth – about one and a half litres of blood.
I was feeling quite dizzy, and I asked my husband to go with the baby. Shortly after, the baby developed low blood sugar.
His blood sugar was low, and he had jaundice. I managed to get myself down to the NICU, but Scott told me to go back to bed and rest.
After Jude was born, Scarlett shared on Instagram how thankful she was for the care he received in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
It’s NICU Awareness Month. As some of you know, my son Jude was born prematurely at 35 weeks and 5 days – about a month early – and was a true miracle.
I’m incredibly thankful for the amazing care and support we received from the NICU at Durham Hospital, especially from Helen and Charlotte! They were a huge help during a difficult time.
I’m thrilled to be working with WaterWipes, who are launching their fifth annual Pure Foundation Fund. This fund lets you show your appreciation for people and teams who provide exceptional care to premature babies or those in the NICU.
The TV star and her ex-police officer fiancé, Scott, got engaged in 2023, shortly after having a baby, and plan to get married next year.
