For almost twenty years, the Thomas brothers have been regular faces on ITV, appearing in shows like Emmerdale, Love Island, and Dancing on Ice. The Manchester-based trio – Adam and Scott (37, and twins), and Ryan (41) – have become well-known and much-liked figures in the world of reality television.
Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe the drama! It’s all kicking off after Adam’s huge argument on ‘I’m A Celebrity’! Apparently, it’s really messed things up between him and ITV. I’ve heard from people in the know that things are seriously rocky now – the Thomas brothers totally went for ITV on their podcast, it was brutal! And get this – there are absolutely NO plans for Adam to be on any ITV shows to celebrate his win! Can you believe it? They’re completely freezing him out, it’s awful! I’m so upset for him, he deserves so much better!
The conflict began when Adam angrily confronted Jimmy Bullard during a team challenge, using harsh language. Jimmy responded by declaring he was quitting the show – saying ‘I’m A Celeb’ – which upset Adam because it meant Adam would also have to leave. Despite the argument, Adam’s fellow campmates voted to allow him to stay on the show.
Surprisingly, Jimmy claims the producers actually removed the most offensive parts of the angry outburst.
The show’s live finale quickly became chaotic just three days after it began. Former boxer David Haye, 45, confronted Adam about a heated argument they’d had. Jimmy, 47, also criticized Adam, calling his behavior “abusive, aggressive, and intimidating.”
Oh my god, you will NOT believe what happened! It was absolute chaos! Everyone was just yelling at each other, completely losing it. And then, my queen, Gemma Collins, just WALKED OFF! She was so upset, saying she was ‘disgusted and embarrassed’ by how her old campmates were acting – honestly, she deserved better! Even Harry Redknapp, bless him, said the whole finale was a ‘nightmare’! It was a disaster, but I couldn’t look away!
The Thomas brothers have criticized ITV on their podcast, ‘At Home With The Thomas Bros,’ alleging that the show took unfair advantage of Adam.
Scott criticized some ITV reality shows as ‘toxic and high risk,’ alleging that editing was manipulated to portray his brother negatively. Ryan, 41, explained that the shows didn’t fully capture his brother Adam’s experience, and that footage showing Adam taking responsibility for his actions was left out.
Adam, 37, described his experience in the jungle as very upsetting, explaining that he felt taken advantage of, and that this was apparent during the final live show.
Even though he won with a significant 51% of the public vote, he said he felt deeply regretful. He stated he wouldn’t repeat the experience for any amount of money, even £10 million, because of how difficult it was for him.
During a heartfelt conversation on the podcast, Adam became emotional and started crying. He explained that he used to enjoy watching a particular show with his children, but now it would be too painful, as it would remind him of a difficult time in his life.
His brother, Scott, was determined to hold the television network responsible, stating that all the contestants were upset with ITV, and the problem wasn’t with the person he was speaking to, but with the network itself.
Those shows are incredibly harsh and competitive – they can really tear you down. That’s just the nature of the high-pressure environment. What happened wasn’t your doing; ITV created that situation.
The brothers’ harsh comments have unexpectedly boosted their YouTube channel’s popularity. Since posting the video yesterday, their follower count has increased from 39,000 to 41,500.
According to a source close to the situation, Adam is very angry and doesn’t want to share his side of the story with ITV.
This week, Adam’s campmates Sinitta and Scarlett Moffat have been talking about the show on ITV programs like Good Morning Britain and Loose Women. However, Adam himself has stayed away from the cameras. He didn’t even appear on ‘Unpacked,’ the show where contestants usually discuss their experiences in the jungle.
The controversy surrounding “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” has caused several problems for ITV, including over 1,200 complaints filed with Ofcom. Recent reports indicate that ITV doesn’t intend to produce another season of the show.
ITV swiftly addressed comments made by Adam on his podcast. A representative stated to the Daily Mail that the show’s editing accurately reflected what life was like in the camp.
We take the well-being of our contestants very seriously. We provide support to celebrities throughout the entire show, and our production team closely monitors everyone. If anyone behaves inappropriately, we will step in to address it.
A source close to the show said that while there was plenty of drama, most of the contestants enjoyed their time and aren’t upset with ITV or how the episodes were put together.
Adam has said that David’s behavior in camp was bullying and left him feeling emotionally shaken, claiming David manipulated him. Meanwhile, David is reportedly planning a £10 million lawsuit against ITV, arguing the conflict with Adam has severely harmed his reputation.
He reportedly hired the law firm Gatehouse Chambers, known for its high hourly rate of £500, and has asked them to write to ITV. The letter demands a thorough review of how the show was edited, as he believes it unfairly portrayed him as a villain.
Jimmy has consulted with a lawyer and is collecting evidence to support his legal claim against ITV.
People close to the former soccer player, who gained fame playing for Wigan Athletic in the Premier League, report he’s very angry that ITV seems to be supporting Adam by removing footage of inappropriate actions.
Longtime fans will likely be shocked by the sharply critical podcast episode released by the Thomas Brothers, especially considering their successful years on ITV. Industry experts are now wondering if they can repair their relationship with the channel, as their consistent television work has often been credited to their strong industry connections.
It’s interesting to note that Adam’s agent, Madison Lygo, is the daughter of Kevin Lygo, who is in charge of commissioning programs for ITV.
After their recent falling out, it’s uncertain if the Thomas brothers will repair their strong relationship with ITV, or if the channel will permanently stop working with them.
