Fans of Harry Styles are upset with Ticketmaster because resale tickets for his tour are being sold with extra fees added on.

The 32-year-old singer is starting his seven-city tour in Amsterdam, followed by London. Tickets for these shows are now being resold.

Tickets for standing at the rear originally cost £145.39, but a service fee of £18.40 was added for the person who bought them.

Anyone buying tickets now will pay an extra £21.81, making the total cost £167.20.

VIP packages add an extra cost. For example, the Disco Package includes a £50 service charge, bringing the total price from £334.93 to £385.17.

This situation is upsetting both fans trying to purchase tickets and sellers worried about being unable to sell theirs.

People are expressing their anger on X about the situation, pointing out that Wembley fans aren’t allowed to resell tickets for more than they originally paid. The increased prices are due to Ticketmaster’s high service fees, which many see as unfair to both those selling and buying tickets.

Ticketmaster considers resold tickets as completely new purchases, even if an original ticket already existed.

Buyers are charged for handling payments, securely transferring tickets, and providing customer support and guarantees.

As a big concert and event-goer, I’ve noticed something really frustrating with resale tickets. The fee the resale site charges isn’t a fixed amount – it actually increases as the ticket price goes up. So, if you’re already paying a lot for a popular event, that resale fee just makes the final cost even more painful when you’re checking out. It feels like you’re being penalized for wanting to see something in high demand!
