PlayStation Plus subscribers will soon have access to a new selection of free games. This month’s lineup includes EA Sports FC 26, along with Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and Nine Sols. These games are available to Essential tier members, and also to those with higher-tier subscriptions.
Recently, the game faced trouble when its director, Xia Siyuan, was reportedly let go and the main development team broke up. Shortly after, Digital Bros, the company that owns 505 Games, bought the game’s rights for €4 million, potentially explaining why it’s now available on PlayStation Plus. Despite the issues, it’s still a well-made action RPG in the style of the Souls series and worth playing.
Nine Sols is a really solid 2D Metroidvania game. It came out last year on consoles and features beautiful visuals and music, along with challenging combat that centers around well-timed parries. We have a full review if you want to learn more, but it’s definitely a game worth playing.
These three games will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers from May 5th through June 1st. Last month’s games, including Lords of the Fallen, are available here. Plus, Extra and Premium members will also enjoy a great selection of new titles, like Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered and The Crew Motorfest. Find out more details here.
