Pokémon Unite Feraligatr’s Movesets
Basic Attack
We will update these ability details when the Pokémon releases on May 8th, 2026.
Passive – Torrent
I’m really excited about Feraligatr! Once it gets down to half health or lower, its moves become available much faster – the cooldowns are cut by 2 seconds, which is awesome. And it’s so cool how it evolves! You start with Totodile, get Croconaw around level 5 or 6, and then finally, at level 7, you get the amazing Feraligatr!
Ability 1 – Bite
Feraligatr’s bite is incredibly powerful, damaging opponents and slowing them down. Plus, its next attack will be even stronger.
Ability Choice at Level 5
At Level 5, Feraligatr will be able to use the following ability:
Crunch
Once Feraligatr gains this ability, it can switch between different types of fangs, each with a unique effect. Using the ability again chooses one of three effects to apply to its next attack, and also briefly speeds up its attacks afterward.
- Gluttonous fangs: When a basic attack hits, Feraligatr’s HP is restored.
- Destructive fangs: When a basic attack hits an opposing Pokémon, that Pokémon’s Defense stats decrease.
- Clamping fangs: When a basic attack hits an opposing Pokémon, it applies a slowing effect.
Ability 2 – Scratch
Feraligatr charges forward and attacks with its powerful claws, damaging opponents and preventing them from moving.
Ability Choice at Level 7
At Level 7, Feraligatr will be able to use the following ability:
Waterfall
Okay, so when I use this move with my Feraligatr, it just charges forward and slams into the other Pokémon, dealing damage. The cool thing is, it also gives me a boost to my Shield! But here’s the catch: how much damage and how big the Shield boost are actually depend on how far Feraligatr charges. So positioning is key – a longer charge means more impact, but also leaves me open longer!
If Pokémon are close enough, they’ll be stunned and unable to move. If they’re too far apart, they’ll be flung away.
Unite Move
Feraligatr roars fiercely, briefly speeding up its ability to use moves again. If used a second time, Feraligatr charges towards an enemy Pokémon and bites down, inflicting damage.
How much damage a Pokémon takes from the other team’s attacks depends on how many extra effects the move Crunch causes.

Pokémon Unite Feraligatr Gameplay Tips
This guide will show you how to play Feraligatr effectively in Pokémon Unite and create a winning strategy. We’ll break down what to do in the early and late stages of the game, so be sure to read through both sections.
Early Game
When playing Feraligatr, it’s best to go to either the Top or Bottom Lane. Early in the game, concentrate on getting gold and pushing your lane. Use your first ability, Bite, to damage opponents, slow them down, and make your next attack stronger. Remember to follow up with regular attacks to deal as much damage as possible.
Once you reach Level 3, use Scratch to quickly move in, attack enemies, and briefly stun them before returning to a safe position. Be careful not to go too far into enemy territory early in the game, as Feraligatr is still fragile. Concentrate on earning resources, scoring, and gaining experience to level up. Feraligatr becomes significantly more powerful at Level 5 when it learns Crunch.
Mid and Late Game
Once you reach Level 5, Bite evolves into Crunch, and at Level 7, Scratch becomes Waterfall, creating a powerful core combination. This combo is all about dealing consistent damage and keeping enemies under control. Use Crunch to switch between different bite effects and make your next attack even stronger – it can either heal you, weaken enemies, or slow them down.
Okay, so here’s how I’ve been playing Feraligatr. I try to land the Fang effect, then immediately follow up with Waterfall to dash in, grab a shield, and either stun or knock back anyone nearby – it’s a great way to control team fights and stay safe. Later in the game, Feraligatr’s passive really shines. When I’m low on health, I can spam abilities way more often, which is awesome, especially after I use his Unite move. It’s a total game-changer for keeping the pressure on!
Feraligatr’s Unite Move is most effective during team fights, especially if you’ve already used Crunch. Activate the Unite Move to shorten the cooldowns of your other moves, then activate it again to rush towards an enemy and inflict significant damage. The more times you’ve successfully used Crunch on the target, the more powerful this attack will be.
As a Feraligatr player, I’ve found his Unite move is amazing in close-quarters fights against the other team’s tanks. It really gives us an edge, especially when we’re trying to secure those important objectives later in the game – like taking a Goal Zone, battling over Groudon, or trying to take down Regieleki. It just feels like a game-changer when it lands!
