Clash of Clans is kicking off its 2026 esports season! Following a successful 2025 event, the Clash of Clans World Championship 2026 has been announced, offering a $1 million prize to winning teams.

The championship is all about achieving victory, and the best teams will compete for bragging rights and a share of the million-dollar prize. Supercell announced that this competition will focus on Town Hall 18.

Clash of Clans World Championship 2026: Schedule and Format

The competition begins with monthly finals on May 29th, 2026, to determine who will advance. This year’s event includes four monthly qualifying rounds, a Last Chance Qualifier, a China Regional Qualifier, and culminates in the World Championship Finals.

Monthly competitions start with a ladder phase where teams of five players battle it out on Town Hall 18. Each team plays 20 matches, and the top 128 teams with the best records move on to the next round.

Following this, the Monthly Qualifier will be a double-elimination bracket, meaning teams will compete until only eight remain. These top eight teams will advance to the next stage.

Next up are the Monthly Finals, where the remaining teams will battle it out in a double-elimination tournament. The last team standing will earn a spot at the World Championship Finals.

China will have its own competitive bracket, culminating in a regional final. The number of qualifying spots for this region hasn’t been announced yet.

Teams that didn’t finish in the top 128 during each monthly qualifying event will still earn points on a separate leaderboard. After all four qualifiers, the eight highest-ranked teams without a Golden Ticket will compete in the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ). These teams will battle it out in the LCQ, using a double-elimination format, to earn the final three spots at the world championship.

The World Finals represent the highest level of competition in our esports scene. Eight top teams from qualifying events around the globe will compete in a double-elimination tournament. Success will depend on their ability to adapt, prepare, and stay calm under pressure. The final team remaining will be crowned the 2026 World Champion.

Prize Pool

The total prize money for the 2026 Clash of Clans World Championship is a huge $1,000,000. This money will be distributed across the Monthly Finals, the Last Chance Qualifier, and the final World Championship event. Here’s how it will be divided:
