Get ready to step into a roguelite survival experience with iconic survivors

The Walking Dead: Aftermath offers a new way to experience the world of The Walking Dead, as it’s the first game in the series that uses the roguelite survival format. Players can take control of well-known characters like Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, and Michonne as they fight off endless waves of walkers, dangerous enemies, and challenging bosses.

The world as we knew it is gone, but the fight to live on continues. Get ready for The Walking Dead: Aftermath, a new experience where scavenging for supplies is incredibly dangerous. Team up with familiar faces from the show, build a secure base, and battle both walkers and other survivors. Your struggle begins this summer.

The story starts just outside Atlanta, in a world where simply surviving is a struggle. As you progress, you’ll find resources, improve your team, and face dangerous challenges. Each attempt is risky, but overcoming those obstacles will make you and your survivors more powerful.

You can revisit iconic locations, recruit unique survivors, build defenses, and more

I’m really enjoying the campaign missions because they revisit classic locations like Hershel’s Farm, Woodbury, and Alexandria. As you progress, you’ll meet new survivors who bring special skills to your camp. These new members will help you build stronger defenses, unlock new abilities, and strategize to stay alive.

I think this game looks fantastic, and as a long-time fan of the series, I can’t wait to play it this summer. It’s a great mix of fast-paced action, strategic survival elements, and base building, which I’m confident will make for a really fun experience. The good reviews from the initial release are just icing on the cake!
