Harry Redknapp says Adam Thomas ‘really lost his head’ with Jimmy Bullard as he wades into explosive I’m A Celeb row and explains why he didn’t get involved before

Harry Redknapp has commented on the disagreement between Jimmy Bullard and Adam Thomas on the show ‘I’m A Celebrity’.

The 79-year-old former football manager didn’t say much about the argument between his fellow contestants during last week’s messy live finale.

Last year, on a pre-recorded show, things got really heated between Jimmy and Adam. Jimmy publicly accused Adam of behaving in a way he described as ‘abusive, aggressive, and intimidating.’ Apparently, this stemmed from Adam allegedly using a deeply offensive slur – the ‘C-word’ – and Jimmy felt he needed to address it directly. As someone who often talks about healthy communication, it’s always upsetting to hear about interactions escalating like this, and it highlights the importance of respectful dialogue, even when disagreements arise.

Okay, so I just read this incredible interview with Harry in the Daily Mail, and finally, finally he’s talking honestly about what really happened during that whole thing in South Africa! He’s actually sharing what was going through his head during that brawl, and it’s like, I’ve waited ages to hear his side of the story. It’s so good to finally get the real deal from him!

“That was a really bad argument,” Harry said. “Adam completely lost his temper with Jimmy, which was disappointing because they usually got along well.”

Harry discussed the ongoing conflict between Adam and David Haye, who has faced accusations of bullying. He mentioned that Adam was frequently bothered by things and easily upset.

He observed that David was repeatedly criticizing Adam, and Adam appeared to be easily offended and frequently upset by it.

Harry explained that he didn’t realize the extent of the discussions happening in camp because he wasn’t wearing his hearing aids at the time. He’s since formed his own opinion on the matter.

He explained that he hadn’t really heard what was happening because he wears hearing aids. Unfortunately, he couldn’t bring them to the camp with him, as there was no way to recharge them and the batteries would only last up to two days.

To be honest, I couldn’t hear much of what people were talking about around camp.

I’m watching it on TV now, but when it was happening, I struggled to follow the conversation and found it hard to concentrate.

Harry also touched on why ‘hunger’ had a huge impact on the arguments in and out of camp.

The reality TV star explained they had a few disagreements, which is normal when people are living in close quarters, especially when they’re hungry and food is scarce.

‘They tend to happen I suppose, but it didn’t happen with me. I didn’t argue with anybody really.’

Things got chaotic during the live finale when Gemma Collins and Sinitta angrily walked off stage, and hosts Ant and Dec had trouble regaining control.

After Adam reportedly used a highly offensive slur against Jimmy during a heated argument that led to the show being cancelled last year, the two Geordie personalities allowed Jimmy a chance to respond.

Jimmy explained he was leaving the show for private reasons. He also revealed that his full salary depended on him saying the show’s catchphrase during a challenge.

Jimmy acknowledged he made a mistake and upset people by blaming someone else. However, he firmly stated he won’t tolerate abusive, aggressive, or intimidating behavior.

Jimmy asked Ant and Dec for their thoughts, pointing out that they had been present but hadn’t included any of the relevant footage.

‘You didn’t show any of the C-bombs, it’s a liberty’, Jimmy fumed.

Ant explained they didn’t broadcast the offensive word because it’s not allowed on air. He added that he was present during the incident and didn’t find it threatening, repeating to Jim that he witnessed it firsthand.

Adam stated that he fully accepts responsibility for what happened, and acknowledged that emotions were strong at the time.

I truly care about Jimmy and feel for him. I’ve apologized to him many times, and I’m listening to his concerns. All I can do now is offer another apology.

I wasn’t comfortable presenting myself that way, and I haven’t done so before or since. I apologize, Jimmy.
