Lacrimosa is a powerful, playable character in Neverness to Everness, classified as an S-rank Chaos liquid. She’s designed to be the main damage dealer in your team, inflicting damage over time with her abilities and ultimate skill. This guide will cover everything you need to know about building Lacrimosa, including her skills, the best Arcs to equip, Console choices, and effective team compositions.

Neverness to Everness Lacrimosa Build Guide: Kit explained

Lacrimosa is a powerful character who focuses on dealing damage over time (DoT) while on the battlefield. She excels at consistently harming enemies and weakening their defenses. Here’s a look at how her Basic Attack, Skills, Ultimate, and Passive abilities work.

Basic Attack

Lacrimosa’s basic attack deals Chaos damage and can inflict a debuff called Nightmare on enemies, building up to 10 stacks. Nightmare causes damage over time. Each time Lacrimosa deals Chaos damage multiple times, she applies one stack of Nightmare. Each stack increases damage by 10.1% and lasts for 3 seconds.

Skills

Skill: Morning Tomato

She rapidly fires off incomplete energy constructs, dealing area-of-effect Chaos damage and applying the Nightmare status effect to enemies. Once the skill finishes, she applies a fifth instance of either Tomato Metal or Tomato Percussion, also inflicting Nightmare.

Redirect Skill: Devilish Gift

This mod functions like Lacrimosa, inflicting damage, but prevents movement while active – though you can end it whenever you choose. When Lacrimosa uses Devilish Gift, she gains a portion of the attack power from the original user of the skill.

Ultimate

This attack deals 15 Chaos damage total and also applies a Nightmare effect, inflicting 5 Nightmare.

Passive Skills

  • Tomato Banquet: Deals additional DMG equal to 400% of ATK to the target when Discord is triggered, if the target is already Broken. This passive enhances Discord reaction damage.
  • Sleep In: Grants 1 additional attempt of Morning Tomato after Lacrimosa uses Tomato Metal or Tomato Percussion 5 times during the skill cooldown. Activates only 1 time per skill cooldown.

Neverness to Everness Lacrimosa Build Guide: Best Arcs

Arcs Effects
The Last Rose (S) Increases ATK by 14%. Grants 1 stack of Chaos Thorn each time the wearer deals DoT. Increases CRIT DMG by 6% per stack for 3s. Triggers at most once every 0.3s, up to 10 times, and refreshes the duration on retrigger.

Grants 10 stacks of Chaos Thorn immediately when the wearer casts a Redirect Skill. Extends the Broken state of a Broken enemy by 3s when the wearer deals damage to them (triggers at most once per Break Effect).

It’s her best arc, which provides everything she needs.

Youthful Fantasy (S) Increases Break Intensity by 60. Seals Arc: Black Tome with two chains by default. Unleashes 1 chain each time any character on the team casts a Support Skill. Makes Arc: Black Tome available when both chains are unleashed.

Arc: Black Tome — Summons the Black Tome for 20s. Designates an enemy every 5s. Increases the wearer’s Chaos DMG dealt to designated enemies by 20%.

Deals Chaos DMG equal to 200% of the wearer’s ATK to designated enemies when they take Break Damage.

Another good Arc for her, but she can’t use all of its passives. This weapon’s Chaos damage is very useful for her.

Fluff of Fleetness (S) Increases 5% ATK every 1s while the wearer is the active character, up to 5 stacks. Resets when the wearer leaves the field.

This arc gives her 25% ATK boost.

Mind Royale (A) Grants the wearer 10 Ultimate Energy when casting a Redirect Skill. Triggers up to once every 20s.

It’s not a good arc, but she can get tons of Ultimate energy during battle.

Neverness to Everness Lacrimosa Build Guide: Best Console

Console Effects
Diabolos Epic (2): Chaos DMG +10%.

Legendary (4): Ignores 12% of enemies’ Chaos RES. Ignores 24% of enemies’ Chaos RES for 20 seconds after the wearer participates in Nova or Scorch reactions.

It’s her best console set, which ignores Chaos res and increases Chaos DMG.

Stat Priority: CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG > ATK% > Chaos Damage Bonus

Lacrimosa Best Team Comps

Daffodil/Fadia/Lacrimosa/Adler

In this team, Daffodil is our primary damage dealer. Lacrimosa boosts overall damage, especially from Discord reactions. Fadia protects the team by redirecting damage and providing helpful buffs, while Adler offers a shield and sets off reactions.

Lacrimosa/Sakiri/Fadia/Haniel

In this team, Lacrimosa is our primary damage dealer. Sakiri and Fadia both handle triggering elemental reactions and managing smaller enemies. Haniel focuses on boosting the damage output of the entire team.

Is Lacrimosa worth Pulling

This character consistently deals damage over time. Currently, only two other characters in the game significantly boost her effectiveness. While she isn’t essential to pull, she’s a solid choice.
