Australian actress Harriet Dyer playfully teased her husband, Patrick Brammall, about his connection with Anne Hathaway, whom he worked with on the upcoming film ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2‘, in a funny video she shared.
Harriet posted a video on Instagram showing Colin from Accounts enthusiastically praising the 44-year-old actress, who is his romantic partner in the movie.
She playfully warned followers not to trust anyone, accompanying the message with a video of herself jokingly looking sad while watching Patrick enthusiastically praise Anne during a red carpet interview. She told a reporter, ‘It’s a tough job having to fall in love with Anna Hathaway – a really tough job!’
The interviewer mentioned that people have called Anne the most beautiful person in the world.
‘Me too,’ Patrick agrees.
The scene shifts to Harriet watching her husband’s statement while wearing a plain, unflattering hoodie.
‘What?’ she says while feigning shock.
Harriet then shared a TV interview featuring the actress from The Princess Diaries, who spoke very highly of Patrick.
Anne describes him as the perfect creative collaborator. He’s a great listener, thinks fast, and, being a writer himself, has a natural talent with language.
‘And as a person, total dream bomb.’
Throughout the video, Harriet also showed a collection of heartwarming photos of her life with Patrick. These included sweet romantic moments and funny scenes of Patrick, a father of two, learning the ropes with a parenting guide.
The clip ends with a snippet of Eric Clapton’s song “Tears in Heaven,” featuring the lyrics, “I must be strong, and carry on, ‘cause I know I don’t belong here in Heaven.”
The scene ends with a final shot of Harriet in her bathroom, looking sad while brushing her teeth, wrapped in a towel.
Harriet playfully promoted her husband’s new movie and also mentioned that the sequel to ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ comes out tomorrow.
Patrick reacted to the funny video with a sarcastic ‘Oh great,’ and Harriet playfully added, ‘Looks like your keys are useless now!’
People immediately reacted positively to the video, including podcaster Jess Rowe, who called it ‘FABULOUS’.
Abbie Chatfield joked: ‘Can’t believe he’s done this!!!! Team Harri.’
‘Damn Hollywood… it was just a matter of time,’ said another of the couple’s followers.
Comedian Kate Langbroek chimed in with a playful jab, sharing that she’d jokingly asked your husband about the situation and he claimed you weren’t upset. She added a lighthearted ‘innocent man’ to the message.
Patrick and Harriet, both Australian actors living in the US, began dating in 2017 and got married in 2021.
They adopted a daughter, Joni, the same year, and welcomed their second child, Mabel, in 2025.
The husband and wife duo created the comedy-drama Colin from Accounts, where they play a couple who occasionally date other people but eventually fall for each other.
They recently completed season 3 of the Fox/Binge streaming hit, following its debut in 2022.
