Even if you’re not familiar with their music, GWAR is a band worth seeing live. It’s okay if you don’t fully understand everything that’s happening – just relax and enjoy the show!
That’s really the idea behind GWAR. You have to be able to enjoy it without taking things too seriously or getting upset. They’re not trying to make a statement about anyone’s beliefs or offend their fans—they just want to be funny and poke fun at the absurdity of life. GWAR isn’t aiming for awards; they’re aiming to entertain.
Let me tell you, this is a blast! But seriously, don’t wear anything you’re too attached to. Paint will get everywhere. If you really want to embrace the chaos, though, I recommend rocking a white shirt – consider it a canvas that’s about to get a makeover. It’s all part of the fun!
GWAR drops a slew of 2026 tour dates
It’s also a good idea to protect your head, as the band’s dye can linger in your hair for a while.
Even if it’s just for a short break from everyday life, the concert tickets are worth the cost. The band will be touring this fall, with shows running from October 27th to around mid-December. Fans can access a pre-sale starting Wednesday, April 29th at 10 am local time, and tickets will be available to the general public on Friday, May 1st at 10 am local time. Visit the band’s website for complete details.
