Jimmy Bullard was spotted on Tuesday, marking his first public appearance since the dramatic conclusion of ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ and the controversy surrounding his interactions with Adam Thomas. Reports suggest he’s considering legal action against ITV.
Oh my god, you will NOT believe what happened! Jimmy, our Jimmy, totally called out Adam after everything that went down in the jungle. Apparently, they had this huge, explosive fight – seriously, it was awful! Jimmy said Adam was acting all aggressive and threatening, and he’s convinced ITV deliberately edited the footage to make Adam look better. I KNEW something was off with how they showed it! It’s just… everything! I’m so Team Jimmy right now, it’s unbelievable.
Although Adam did apologize for what happened, Jimmy demanded that ITV broadcast the entire recording. This led to an argument and the hosts, Ant and Dec, were unable to regain control of the show.
Viewers shared on social media that the first-ever live final felt incredibly awkward, with one person commenting it was ‘more dramatic than anything I’ve seen in a theatre all year’.
Stepping out on Tuesday he looked downcast as he was seen at a train station in Surrey.
He dressed casually for the outing, wearing a black leather jacket and comfortable white sneakers.
Jimmy and Adam argued during a challenge on ‘I’m a Celebrity…’ when Jimmy jokingly said he wanted to be eliminated, hoping to still get paid for his time on the show.
He had been teamed up with Adam, and saying the words meant both men would be going home.
This made Adam very angry, and he was caught on camera using offensive language towards Jimmy, including a highly offensive slur and repeated use of the F-word.
Adam was able to stay on the show regardless, causing people to brand the show a fix.
Jimmy said the argument with Adam was far more intense than what viewers saw on the live show. He alleged that Adam used a highly offensive slur and behaved in a way that was aggressive, abusive, and frightening.
Ant, the show’s host, who is 50 years old, stated that the broadcast accurately reflected the events, though certain parts were left out because they weren’t suitable for television.
Jimmy stated he’d jokingly said ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!’ while on the show. He explained he had to leave for personal reasons, but hoped to still receive his complete payment.
Initially, the trial was about identifying stars, and that’s why I selected Adam. Then, you made me realize that the two lowest-ranked contestants would actually be eliminated – it was a sudden realization!
Honestly, after that moment with Adam, I just couldn’t pick him. I was completely surprised when someone actually went home – I genuinely thought they were just awarding stars or something! It never crossed my mind it was an elimination.
He said someone from the production team inquired about his contract, explaining that he’d only receive a portion of his pay if he left while at camp. However, he’d get the full amount if he left during a trial period.
Jimmy was angry about how the scene was presented and confronted Ant and Dec. He explained that he couldn’t accept someone being abusive, aggressive, or intimidating, and pointed out that they witnessed it firsthand but didn’t show any of that behavior in the edit.
‘You didn’t show any of the C-bombs, it’s a liberty.’
Ant explained they didn’t broadcast the offensive language because it’s not allowed on air. He added that he was present during the incident and didn’t find it threatening, emphasizing, ‘I was there, Jim.’
Adam stated that he fully accepts responsibility for what happened, and acknowledged that everyone involved was feeling very emotional at the time.
I genuinely care about Jimmy and feel for him. I’ve apologized to him many times, and I truly listen to his concerns. All I can do now is offer my sincere apologies again.
I didn’t like how I came across, and I’ve never presented myself that way before or since. I apologize, Jimmy.
David made a joking comment, but Ant and Dec quickly told him to stop talking over them.
David explained that he prefers to be honest and direct. He believes things have been manipulated to portray Adam as a victim in order to gain public sympathy.
There was a lot of playful teasing between us, though much of it wasn’t shown. Now, I think it’s time to reveal what really happened.
Sinitta angrily left the stage and confronted the audience, telling them, “You didn’t experience what I did. It was frightening and harmful, and we were all really shaken up.”
Jimmy called out, saying that even if Adam apologized, it wasn’t okay to be aggressive, abusive, or intimidating.
I strongly disagree that wasn’t aggressive, abusive, or intimidating. You can’t claim that’s not how it was. Let’s show everyone the footage and play it right now so they can see for themselves!
When Jimmy asked Harry Redknapp, the 79-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur manager and winner of ‘I’m A Celebrity,’ for a comment, Redknapp hesitated and didn’t say anything.
The argument ended with Ant telling Jimmy, ‘Okay, let’s just stop here. We’re not going to see eye to eye on this.’
The normally composed hosts seemed genuinely frustrated during the show, with Ant repeatedly pointing out to both Bullard and Haye that they hadn’t been present at the event being discussed.
David also challenged Adam, asking if he should have won considering he’d used a deeply offensive slur against Jimmy while in South Africa. Gemma reacted by putting her arm around David and telling him to be quiet.
‘Yeah after that challenge I do think I deserve to win’, Adam proudly replied.
You know, after talking with David, I’m realizing it’s important to get Jimmy’s perspective on everything. Apparently, a lot of context was left on the cutting room floor, and it’s impacting how things are being perceived. David and I both really like Jimmy, but it seems like Adam is presenting himself as the one who’s been wronged, and that’s shifting the narrative. It’s a reminder that understanding all sides of a story is key!
Dec hit back: ‘David, you were gone. You weren’t even there!’
“Can we just let the finalists speak?” Adam asked, as Gemma reached out to restrain David with the studio descending into uproar.
Okay, so the buzz is that Jimmy’s considering legal action against ITV. From what I’m hearing, he was actually using the show’s finale as a way to gather information and build his case. It sounds like he’s been carefully documenting things, and now he’s ready to take the next step.
