Even though Pokémon Scarlet and Violet came out in 2022, there are still free items and challenges available! Players can still claim Mystery Gifts and participate in Tera Raid Battles. A new free download is currently available, and you don’t need a code to get it—just an internet connection.
A special event is happening in the Pokémon games Scarlet and Violet thanks to the current Tera Raid Battles. From April 23rd to April 30th, players can challenge a powerful Chesnaught in a 7-star Tera Raid Battle. The event starts at 8 PM Eastern Time on April 23rd and ends at 7:59 PM Eastern Time on April 30th, as announced on the official Pokémon website.
To join this special challenge, you need to finish the main story of the game and defeat the strongest version of Chesnaught. If you haven’t done that yet, you can still participate by teaming up with a friend who has! You can find detailed instructions on how to get started and join Tera Raid Battles in our complete guide.
To get the newest updates, you’ll need to download the latest Poké Portal News. You can do this by going to the Poké Portal in the game’s menu, selecting “Mystery Gift,” and then choosing “Check Poké Portal News.” Make sure you’re connected to the internet, and that’s all there is to it!
This Chesnaught is a Rock-type Pokémon, which means Water- and Grass-type Pokémon will be super effective against it. Fighting, Ground, and Steel types are also good choices. If you defeat it, you can catch this special Chesnaught, but only once in your game. Even if you’ve already caught it, you can still battle in the Tera Raid for rewards like EXP Candy, Tera Shards, stat-boosting items, and items to sell for Poké Dollars.
Tera Raid Battles are a common event in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and it’s exciting to see Chesnaught featured! If you want to add this strong Pokémon to your team, keep in mind that the event is ending soon. You have roughly 48 hours from now to participate in the 7-star Tera Raid Battle in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, so don’t delay!
