You can now rent or buy the thriller Rich Flu, starring Timothy Spall. Released in 2024, the movie centers around Laura (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and her struggle to keep her family safe from a fatal illness that’s spreading among the world’s wealthiest individuals, beginning with billionaires.
The film explores a chilling question: what if wealth couldn’t bring happiness, but actually put your life in danger? It follows a scenario where a fatal illness begins targeting the world’s richest and most powerful, and examines the desperate measures they’ll take to survive.
Timothy Spall stars with his son, Rafe Spall, and the film also features Lorraine Bracco, Jonah Hauer-King, Dixie Egerickx, and César Domboy.
The film Rich Flu first premiered at the Sitges Film Festival in 2024, and became widely available in Spanish cinemas in 2025.
Despite never being shown in UK movie theaters, the film is now available to purchase digitally on Prime Video for £9.99.
