TAG Heuer recently launched a new version of its Formula 1 Solargraph watch, now available in a 38mm size and featuring a range of subtle pastel colors. Building on the brand’s history of motorsports-inspired timepieces, this collection combines classic design elements with modern, light-powered technology and focuses on both style and practical materials.
The most exciting feature of this new watch is its Solargraph movement. It’s powered by the Caliber TH50-00 and can run on both sunlight and artificial light, providing a nearly endless energy source. The brand claims just one minute of direct sunlight gives the watch enough power for a full day. A complete charge, which takes less than 40 hours, lets the watch run for up to ten months without any light. Even after being fully drained, it can be restarted with just ten seconds of light, and the internal accumulator is designed to last up to fifteen years.
The five new pastel-colored watches come in slightly different designs. The pastel blue, pastel pink, and beige versions have 38mm cases made from a lightweight material called TH-Polylight, making them comfortable to wear. They also have bezels that can turn in either direction and come with rubber straps and steel buckles in matching colors.
The more luxurious versions, in pastel green and lavender-blue, come with sandblasted steel cases and matching steel bracelets. These premium models are enhanced with eight VS diamonds set into the polished, rhodium-plated hour markers. All watches are water-resistant to 100 meters and feature scratch-resistant sapphire crystals with an anti-glare coating. The hands are coated with Super-Luminova, making them easily visible in both bright and dark conditions. A limited edition pastel pink version, with only 1,110 pieces available, celebrates the 110th anniversary of the Indy 500 in 2026.
The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Solargraph 38mm pastel collection is available now via TAG Heuer.
