G-SHOCK is marking Coca-Cola’s 140th anniversary with a new watch, the GA-2100CC-3A. Based on the popular GA-2100 design, this special edition moves away from typical red Coca-Cola colors and instead features a unique material that’s inspired by the shape of a classic glass Coke bottle.
This watch is carefully designed with a focus on how it feels and looks. It has a smooth case and bezel made from a clear, green material created from plant-based sources – a color inspired by classic Coca-Cola bottles. The band is also made from this sustainable material, keeping the watch tough like all G-SHOCKs, but with a more environmentally friendly production process. Inside, it uses Casio’s strong yet lightweight Carbon Core Guard structure, making the watch incredibly durable, shock-resistant, and waterproof up to 200 meters, all while weighing only 51 grams.
The watch face beautifully combines how the watch works with subtle design details. It features a textured brown surface with a bubbly pattern, set against striking rose-gold hour markers. A custom graphic of the bottle appears where you’d normally find the day of the week, and it includes the bottle’s signature fluted design. This same fluted pattern is also on the bio-resin strap. The stainless steel back of the watch is engraved with a unique bottle cap design. It’s technically impressive too, with dual LED lights and a battery that lasts for three years.
Okay, so when a new GA-2100 model drops, you really gotta remember how huge this watch was when it first came out in 2019. It started as just another G-SHOCK, but everyone immediately noticed how similar its shape was to the super expensive Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. We, the community, quickly started calling it the “CasiOak” and it blew up! People started making all kinds of metal kits to customize it, and it was everywhere in watch news. G-SHOCK saw what was happening and smartly listened to us. They eventually released official metal versions (the GM-2100 line) and even fully metal models, which kind of combined that cool, affordable streetwear vibe with the look of a luxury watch. It was a big deal!
The Coca-Cola x G-SHOCK GA-2100CC-3A watch will be available for purchase in May 2026. It will cost ¥27,500 JPY (about $175 USD) and can be found on the Casio website.
