Vans is adding to its Premium collection with a new version of the Authentic 44 – originally known as the Style 44 and a classic since 1966. This update focuses on using high-quality materials and improving comfort, giving the iconic shoe a modern makeover.

This release features a standout textile design. Instead of using canvas, the shoes are made with a special synthetic denim that’s been carefully treated to look worn and faded. This process creates realistic fading and wear marks around the laces, as if the shoes have been broken in over years. What’s unique is that the denim isn’t just on the upper part of the shoe; it also wraps around the rubber sole and sides, giving both the ‘Denim Black’ and ‘Denim Indigo’ versions a consistent, textured look.

These shoes combine a classic look with modern comfort. They include a SOLA FOAM ADC insole that provides excellent cushioning and helps reduce foot fatigue over time. The foam is made with 30% sustainable, plant-based materials. Plus, they feature the brand’s durable, grippy rubber outsole – a design that made them popular with skaters back in the 1970s and still delivers today.
