The latest update to eFootball 2026 introduces a new set of attacking players for national teams, including legendary names like Luís Figo, Jan Koller, and Roy Makaay.
Each card offers certain advantages and boasts promising stats. The key question is how well they actually play, what strategies work best with them, and if acquiring this set is a good investment given the current game environment.
eFootball 2026 Epic National Teams Attackers players
Luís Figo
- Position: RWF
- Playing Style: Cross Specialist
- Show Time Skill: Edged Crossing and Magnetic Feet
This Figo player is designed to excel as a crossing specialist. He’s incredibly smooth and responsive when you have the ball, with excellent close control and balance. The new ‘Magnetic Feet’ feature will also help him maintain possession under pressure, which is key since you’ll be holding onto the ball for a while before making those crosses.
His ability to cross the ball with curve and pace is a major strength. He consistently puts dangerous balls into the box, particularly when delivering from wider areas just outside the penalty area. It’s worth noting, however, that his weaker foot is a limitation.
If you don’t use this player often, you might find yourself limited when trying to cut inside or change direction. That’s where the Outside Curler can be really useful. He’s a standout player – not as flashy or quick as some others, but he brings a unique skill set to the game.
Suggested Skills: Flip Flap, Long Range Shooting, One Touch Pass, Low Lofted Pass, Marseille Turn
Suggested Booster(s): Striker’s Instinct

Roy Makaay
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Goal Poacher
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Bullet Header
Makaay is a reliable goal scorer. He excels at being in the right place at the right time and converting opportunities. His strongest skill is his positioning and movement within the penalty area, which consistently leads to effective runs and scoring chances. Players with this level of awareness – in the high 90s – almost always make impactful runs.
He’s a consistently excellent finisher, especially when given the ball in the 90s – meaning the final third of the field. He doesn’t need elaborate buildup; simply put him in good positions and he’ll find space to shoot accurately and score with either foot.
Honestly, I’m really impressed with Makaay. Some strikers are flashy but don’t deliver, but he’s got both the physical presence and the stats to prove he’s a threat. He’s going to be great in the box on crosses, for sure. And he’s surprisingly well-rounded – he’s pretty good with the ball at his feet, can turn quickly, and doesn’t feel slow when you’re building an attack. Seriously, people are underestimating him, and I think he’s going to be a real asset.
Suggested Skills: Aerial Superiority, Double Touch, Sole Control, Heel Trick
Suggested Booster(s): Striker’s Instinct
Suggested Progression Points Allocation for Roy Makaay
| Shooting | Passing | Dribbling | Dexterity | Lower Body Strength | Aerial Strength | Defending | GK 1/2/3 |

Jan Koller
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Target Man
- Show Time Skill: Willpower and Bullet Header
Koller is a classic target forward, ideally suited for teams that cross the ball. He’s strong, physical, and excels in the air. His height and heading ability mean he consistently wins battles in the box, making him a dangerous threat from crosses.
Having strong willpower is helpful, but a decisive finishing ability would be even better. However, remember his weaknesses. He’s not a leader or someone to rely on heavily. The best approach is to keep things straightforward, use him as a central piece, and involve other players.
He’s a player who needs to be used in a particular way. He’ll be really strong if your preferred style of play matches his strengths. Currently, the popular strategy focuses on wing play, which makes him a good choice. However, if the game shifts away from that, he might not be as useful.
Suggested Skills: Double Touch, Long-Range Curler, Sole Control, One Touch Pass, Outside Curler
Suggested Booster(s): Agility
Suggested Progression Points Allocation for Jan Koller
| Shooting | Passing | Dribbling | Dexterity | Lower Body Strength | Aerial Strength | Defending | GK 1/2/3 |
