Mark Owen’s spouse, Emma, vigorously refuted allegations that the LA wildfires were portrayed as a celebrities-only concern when she recently provided an update.

Due to a wildfire that swept through the affluent neighborhood of Pacific Palisades on Tuesday, Gary Barlow from Take That and his family were compelled to leave their Los Angeles residence.

On Thursday evening, Emma posted an update on Instagram, urging everyone to understand that most of those impacted aren’t famous personalities, but rather ordinary individuals who have tragically lost everything they had.

In an impassioned address, she declared, ‘My concern for my home pales in comparison to my desire for Joyce’s well-being.’

I have all that I truly desire – my children, my spouse, and my pets. The rest doesn’t matter much to me. Feel free to keep it.

I hope that Joyce, along with everyone else who remained to defend what they possess, are all doing well.

Rather than being upset or causing offense, she stated: “I don’t like how this has been presented as ‘celebrity homes,’ ‘pricey estates,’ and ‘Hollywood landmarks.’

As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to clarify that while a small part of California may seem insignificant, it’s crucial to remember that the backbone of California lies in its hardworking residents. These individuals form the very essence of cities like Los Angeles and they are the ones who have been left with the least. They are the heart and soul of this great state, and their contributions should never be underestimated or overlooked.

In simpler terms, ‘They lack insurance and have nowhere to turn in case of emergency. Overflowing rescue shelters show the dire situation. It’s important to remember that LA is home to many who aren’t wealthy and struggling, with thousands not doing well.’

allow me to clarify my stance: I appreciate constructive feedback, yet I find myself displeased with how things have been portrayed. My intention is not to cause offense; rather, I wish to express my dislike of the current representation.

This isn’t exclusively about wealthy and well-known stars. Frankly, it doesn’t matter who they are. It’s about ordinary individuals.

In a state of astonishment, she expressed, “I’m so shocked that I momentarily struggle to find the right words. I fear my expression might be off due to my shock, but I hope you can understand my intention.

On Tuesday, Emma, a mother of three shared with others that since they had to leave their home, their family has become separated while they search for a place suitable to accommodate all their pets.

Instead, she announced delightfully that a reunion might occur on Friday within the same residence. She expressed her sentiments by saying, “I too feel both fortunate and thankful.

On Tuesday, Emma and her family left their home following the early morning alarm of helicopters, heavy dark smoke, and roaring winds.

Earlier on Thursday, Emma posted an Instagram update to let her followers and loved ones know that she’s safe.

In the video, she expressed: “I’m absolutely exhausted; it seems like nobody in Los Angeles is catching any sleep at the moment. I’m briefly coming online again, as we’ve been receiving a multitude of messages from folks who are simply checking on us – friends and family back home, and there have been an abundance of such messages.

‘They’re simply wonderful, but unfortunately, we can’t take the time or muster the energy to send specific details one by one. Just wanted to assure you that everything is fine; we are all safe. Currently, my family (including me, two girls, and our two smaller dogs, as well as the hamsters) are residing at a hotel.’

‘Mark is at his music studio with the two bigger dogs and the cats, we have so many animals.’

I persisted with heartfelt determination: “Despite our efforts, we successfully safeguarded the horse, but unfortunately, the location we relocated it to is now at risk. This means there’s a possibility that the horse may need rescue again.

At my girlfriend’s place, we found ourselves needing to evacuate, so we’ve temporarily moved in with some friends. I eagerly look forward to the day when my entire family is reunited once more.

Emma added that she ‘feels so blessed they’re all safe’ as many people have ‘lost everything’.

Despite her acknowledgment that their conflict isn’t completely resolved because their home is once more under danger and none of the fires have been fully extinguished.

She informed her audience: ‘The ongoing chaos is draining, as it involves frequently checking the internet to see if your home is still standing. Additionally, there have been warnings about looters – it’s hard to comprehend that people are stealing during such a critical period. It makes one question the moral compass of humanity.’

As she prepared to conclude and express her gratitude, she confessed, “I am making an effort to focus on the present, as it is only when I consider tomorrow or the future that I might become overwhelmed.

On Wednesday, Emma posted a video showing the ongoing devastation they witnessed as they left their car and drove away from the flames with their family.

She panned the camera around as they passed torched buildings lined with fire engines.

Emma wrote in her caption, “I appreciate all your messages and concerns. It’s hard to understand this situation, but we are secure.

Due to the intense hurricane-like winds and scarcity of water, the fire has rapidly expanded at an alarming rate, consuming a significant portion of our cherished region. All schools, houses, stores, and stables have been destroyed in its path.

We awoke to the sound of helicopters, heavy black smoke filling the air, winds roaring, and the anxiousness that our home might not withstand it all.

If only I’d packed more thoughtfully. Just having the baby shoes with me would have made a difference.

She added: “Such a large number of people have lost everything they own, even their beloved pets. This crisis is far from resolved. Currently, we have three fires burning in our vicinity, and the available water isn’t enough to control the situation effectively. Moreover, planes are unable to fly due to the strong winds.

It’s unclear what our next move should be. At the moment, I feel weighed down and exhausted. However, we want to express our heartfelt appreciation to the brave souls at @losangelesfiredepartment for their tireless work in these challenging times.

‘In times of immense disaster, they relentlessly strive to protect homes and lives. Kudos to their unwavering dedication! The evidence of climate change is undeniable, and its devastating impact becomes all too real when it occurs.’

TopMob has contacted representatives for Mark Owen for comment.
