Lily Allen shared some revealing behind-the-scenes photos from her West End Girl tour, showcasing her in a variety of provocative lingerie.
The 40-year-old singer is currently on tour across America, performing songs from her album released last year as part of a stage show.
Okay, so everyone says ‘West End Girl’ is Lily Allen’s album about her divorce with David Harbour – and honestly, it is. It’s like she poured her whole heartbreak into it! She’s even been performing the entire album, song by song, in the exact order it’s on the record. It’s…intense, but so amazing to see her process everything through the music. I’ve seen it multiple times, and it’s a total emotional rollercoaster!
Lily shared new photos on Instagram on Monday, asking her followers for updates on their tours with the caption: ‘how’s tour going update’.
In a recent photo, the singer of “Smile” showed off her amazing physique wearing a revealing lace bodysuit with leopard print detailing on the sides.
Lily shared some photos showing her getting ready, wearing a satin lingerie set and a silk robe in her dressing room.
As a touring artist, I’ve had the chance to perform in some amazing cities! I recently finished shows in Chicago, Boston, New York, and Philadelphia. After a quick stop in Washington, D.C., I’m thrilled to be heading to Atlanta for a performance this Tuesday.
Lily’s new, hugely successful song signaled her comeback to music after a seven-year break. Remarkably, it was recorded in only ten days, following her painful separation from her husband, David, in December 2024, after she reportedly found out he was unfaithful.
The song’s lyrics imply the couple had an understanding allowing for casual encounters with others, as long as they were kept secret, involved paid partners, and lacked emotional intimacy – rules the actor from Stranger Things seemingly ignored.
Lily recently shared in an interview that openly discussing non-monogamous relationships, especially within traditional heterosexual contexts, is still a fairly recent development.
She explained that relationships beyond traditional norms have been common within the LGBTQIA+ community for a long time. However, she noted that popular media rarely shows the difficult emotional consequences these relationships can have.
We usually only hear about things when they go well – the polished, upbeat accounts – and that’s wonderful for those involved.
However, others feel uneasy or trapped in a situation they never wanted to be a part of.
She explained to Pop Mess magazine that she believes the album connected with listeners because it addresses an experience people don’t often discuss.
Let me tell you, this new album came completely out of the blue, and it’s being called a really raw and honest look into a couple’s four-year marriage. It’s a deeply personal record – 14 tracks that don’t hold anything back. It’s definitely a bold and revealing piece of work, and honestly, it’s captivating.
The album received three nominations at the 2026 BRIT Awards, but the artist didn’t win in any of those categories at the show.
