Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria bring six of their kids to Spellbound premiere red carpet in NYC
As a dedicated observer of the world of Hollywood, I must say that Alec Baldwin’s life is nothing short of fascinating. The man who played Jack Donaghy on 30 Rock and has graced our screens with his wit and charm for decades now, seems to have found an equally enchanting partner in Hilaria Baldwin. Their brood of eight children, seven born within nine years, is a testament to their love and the energy that only a family so vibrant can bring.
Alec and Hilaria Baldwin presented a charming family image, accompanied by six of their kids, at the Spellbound premiere held in New York City.
The 66-year-old actor, who has been in the limelight following his endorsement of Kamala Harris, was an affectionate father, clad in a denim jacket and gray trousers, as he held his daughter María tenderly in his arms.
His 40-year-old wife work a black suit and carried their son Edu while posing for a group photo.
The pair have daughters Ilaria Catalina Irena (2 years old), María Lucía Victoria (3 years old), Carmen Gabriela (11 years old), sons Eduardo ‘Edu’ Pao Lucas (4 years old), Romeo Alejandro David (6 years old), Leonardo Ángel Charles (7 years old), and Rafael Thomas (9 years old). In simpler terms, they have two girls and five boys of varying ages.
Their toddler Ilaria was missing from the red carpet outing in the Big Apple.
The upcoming animated movie, “Spellbound” by Netflix, follows the story of a teenage princess who finds herself in a magical predicament: her parents have been transformed into beasts and she has a limited time to break the enchantment.
Actors such as Rachel Zegler, Nicole Kidman, Javier Bardem, Jordan Fisher, Nathan Lane, John Lithgow, and Jennifer Lewis are among those lending their voices for this production.
In May, Baldwin discussed the possibility of having more children during an appearance on the Our Way with Paul Anka and Skip Bronson podcast.
Hailey Bieber’s uncle humorously stated: “I’m the only one I know who takes four children to school in the morning and, upon returning home, find myself with three more kids still needing attention.
‘I have eight children. I got my oldest daughter. She has a baby and she and her boyfriend are living in Oregon. I met my wife [Hilaria Baldwin] and we got married and had seven kids in nine years. It’s crazy,’ the Rust star explained.
The actor has daughter Ireland, 28, with ex-wife Kim Basinger, 70.
When inquired about the possibility of adding more offspring to his family of eight, Alec replied with a hint of surprise and finality: “Goodness gracious, such a bold question! I believe my family-building days are behind me.
As the actor continued, he shared his observation: “As I grew older, work seemed less captivating. I’m still enthusiastic about working, I enjoy it. However, there aren’t as many intriguing film projects coming up these days.
Additionally, with time, we’ve all grown older. I strive to avoid repeating my past actions, he shared with the hosts.
Unexpectedly, I encountered someone very dear to me named Hilaria. Every two years, as our youngest child grew, we found ourselves saying, “Perhaps it’s time for another baby – just one more baby…” As a result, we now have seven children together.
On February 18, 2011, Alec and Hilaria initially met at Sarma Melngailis’ eatery in New York City named Pure Food and Wine for the first time.
It would take another six weeks until they started dating, which was in August of 2011.
On June 29, 2012, they finally exchanged their vows during a Catholic wedding ceremony held at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in New York City.
