On their KIIS FM radio program last Thursday, the host, who is 49 years old, emotionally disclosed that she had secretly sought treatment at the Betty Ford Clinic in November 2022, a fact she shared with her co-host Kyle Sandilands.
Jackie openly shared that during the peak of her addiction, she was taking as many as 12 Stilnox sleeping pills and 24 Panadeine Forte tablets every day, frequently accompanied by alcohol.

She also disclosed that she would often take these medications while drinking alcohol, which was a significant part of her addiction.
In November 2022, she admitted herself to the Betty Ford Clinic in California, opting for a lengthy absence from The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
During that period, Kyle informed listeners that Jackie was temporarily stepping back for ‘attending to her wellbeing’, following her Covid infection.
Jackie additionally shared her covert strategy for leaving Australia and jetting off to Los Angeles in November 2022, where she discreetly sought treatment at the renowned Betty Ford Clinic – a place that’s previously welcomed celebrities like Lindsay Lohan and Keith Urban.

I’m all set to depart for the airport and hop on a night-time flight. We’ll board as late as permitted, which means our arrival will be towards the end of the evening.
We’ll grab our rental vehicle and steer towards Palm Springs. Our temporary stopover is at a cozy hotel for two nights, however, it’s not the end point of my journey.
Following our weekend trip to the Sonoran desert, Gemma is returning home, but I won’t be accompanying her. Instead, I’ll be traveling solo once she checks out.
