Clash of Clans introduces Builder Base Bonanza: Time to unlock your 6th Builder if you haven’t already

Clash of Clans is holding a new event called the Builder Base Bonanza, and it’s a great time to revisit your Builder Base if you haven’t been playing there recently. Think of it as a boosted version of the Builder Base, making it much faster to upgrade buildings with big discounts and quicker build times.

Clash of Clans Builder Base Bonanza overview

From May 17th to May 31st, 2026, the Builder Base Bonanza event will make upgrading your Builder Base much faster and cheaper! All upgrades – including buildings, defenses, heroes, Star Laboratory research, and walls – will cost half as much and take half the time.

In addition to big savings, you’ll earn 4x the Star Bonus in the Builder Base. Every five days, new event challenges become available, giving you helpful rewards like Builder Star Jars, Clock Tower Potions, and Rune of Builder Elixir to speed up your progress.

This event is similar to Hammer Jam, but for the Builder Base. If you’ve been putting off upgrades due to long wait times or costly hero improvements, this is a great chance to get things moving quickly.

The perfect time to unlock the 6th Builder

Builder Bonanza is a big deal because it makes completing the Builder Base challenges faster and easier than ever before. Everything costs less – upgrading heroes, researching troops, and finishing buildings all take significantly less time, letting you make much quicker progress.

Okay, so I’ve been slowly working on my Builder Base for ages, and I’m almost at Builder Hall 9. Honestly, I think it’s time to really focus on it! Getting that sixth Builder is a huge deal – it seriously speeds things up in the main village, and it’s one of the best upgrades you can get in Clash of Clans, in my opinion.

This update doesn’t change what you need to achieve, but it significantly reduces the effort. Getting your sixth builder is now much easier! Higher-level upgrades and hero objectives are also simpler to complete because of reduced costs.

Tips and Tricks for Builder Base Bonanza

During Builder Bonanza, it’s best to first figure out which improvements will help you the most. Many players aim to unlock their sixth builder, but others might focus on faster hero or troop upgrades, or reducing build times for longer projects.

Start by planning your quickest upgrades first. Because upgrade times are cut in half, builders finish much faster, so it’s key to think ahead. Save the longest upgrade for last to benefit from the faster build speeds.

Managing your resources is especially important during events because building upgrades finish rapidly. Keep your builders constantly working by regularly collecting Builder Gold and Builder Elixir. Taking advantage of the 4x Star Bonus and using quick attack strategies to earn two stars quickly can greatly speed up your resource gathering.

Improving your heroes should be a top focus right now. Because it’s cheaper and faster to upgrade them during the event, it’s a great chance to quickly level up your Battle Machine and Battle Copter. Getting just a few extra hero levels now can save you a lot of time and effort later on.
