Blumhouse’s Obsession director Curry Barker reveals the buzzworthy horror movie’s original ending.
Inde Navarette’s character, Nikki, lives through the final scenes of the released movie, but Clive Barker filmed an alternate ending where she dies with Michael Johnston’s character, Bear (according to Entertainment Weekly).
We filmed two different endings for the movie: the one you see on screen, and another where the character dies. We actually shot many variations of the planned ending – the one from the script that I really liked. I thought it would be good to film one version where Nikki lives, just to have it, but we only did one take of that and then focused on the main ending.
