Giovanni Pernice makes a triumphant debut on Italian version of Strictly after he and partner Bianca Guaccero score top points - as BBC prepare to unveil bullying probe findings

As a die-hard fan of Strictly Come Dancing, I have been following Giovanni Pernice’s journey since his debut on the Italian version of the show with Bianca Guaccero. My heart was filled with joy watching them dance and the anticipation for the outcome is palpable!

On Saturday, Giovanni Pernice stepped onto the Italian stage of Strictly Come Dancing alongside his celebrity companion, Bianca Guaccero.

A 34-year-old dance artist is currently appearing on ‘Ballando con le Stelle’, having stepped down from the British edition of the program during an investigation into alleged misconduct. The BBC will reveal the results of the inquiry within the coming week.

Making a triumphant return to screens, Giovanni and actress Bianca, 43, landed themselves in second place after performing the Samba.

They scored a total of 37 points from the five judges and viewers’ votes, but were awarded a 30 bonus points from the Regular Guest, which shot them up the leaderboard and into the top spot.

Each episode features a victorious couple, led by Milly Carlucci, while another couple unfortunately gets eliminated.

Points are a mix of the judges and viewers’ votes, plus 30 bonus points each week given to a couple by someone called the Regular Guest.

Some points are additionally presented by representatives of studio guests, usually towards the end of the show or series.

As a diehard fan, I can hardly contain my excitement as BBC officials prepare to reveal the results of their comprehensive four-month probe into Amanda Abbington’s shocking claims that her Strictly dance partner, Giovanni, subjected her to bullying during rehearsals. The anticipation is killing me!

Actress playing Sherlock Holmes, aged 50, levied a sequence of allegations concerning the educator’s instructional techniques, labeling his behavior as “unwarranted, abusive, harsh, and unkind.” However, he vehemently refutes all these accusations.

During an interview, Amanda described the dance competition as resembling a battlefield or “trenches.” She informed Channel 4 News that the BBC producers were shocked by footage that also reportedly depicted inappropriate and humiliating behavior of a sexual nature.

The investigation concerning the events that transpired during the training session has now been finalized and can be made public.

According to a source, The Sun reports that the BBC intends to share the results of the ongoing review with all parties involved as early as next week. However, it is expected that only limited information will be disclosed to the public, while the comprehensive report will be delivered to Amanda, Giovanni, and their legal advisors.

According to the source, leaders at the BBC are optimistic that this situation might bring closure, but the source expressed doubts, stating it’s highly improbable that it will. Instead, they suggest the issue could persist for extended periods, potentially even for many more months.

It was mentioned that regardless of the result, it’s unlikely that either Giovanni or Amanda will be content, so the BBC is preparing for possible appeals.

Amanda and Giovanni each have highly compensated attorneys who meticulously examine every detail, such as every cough and sneeze mentioned in the report, before offering guidance on their subsequent actions.

According to the show’s host, the BBC gave approval for Giovanni to perform a dance routine on the Italian version of Strictly Come Dancing.

Milly, the host of Italian Strictly, implied that the broadcaster’s decision to include the dancer in “Ballando con le Stelle” might give us a clue about the accusations against them.

At a recent press gathering prior to the launch on Saturday, Ms. Carlucci stated that they had been frequently communicating with the BBC to grasp the full scope of these allegations. The fact that nine months have passed and they have yet to respond suggests something significant.

If conclusive evidence about the person responsible for the Agatha Christie-like crime had surfaced, they would have been identified by now. However, no such identification has taken place.

We’ve been keeping close tabs on our arrangement with the BBC, and they’ve granted us full approval for Giovanni to join us. This endorsement from the BBC, a reputable organization in my view, sends a strong message.

The article clarified that they acknowledge the fact that the casting choices for Dancing with the Stars (Italian version) belong to the Italian program itself, not the BBC.

The BBC has been contacted for comment.

Giovanni has been busy rehearsing in Rome for Ballando con le stelle, with his new partner, the stunning Italian singer and actress Bianca.

In conversation about the show, he shared: “Greetings all! I’ve got a brief update for you all from Rome. This week marks the beginning of our live shows, and it’s quite thrilling! By the way, Bianca is absolutely shining in her performances.

‘I did read a lot of your message at the weekend and I am very grateful for all of you.’

Giovanni likewise affirmed that he’ll be back in the United Kingdom quite soon, as his work requires a busy travel itinerary.

He went on to say: “I’ve been receiving many questions like, ‘Giovanni, why did you depart from the UK?’ However, I haven’t left the United Kingdom at all. In reality, I will be returning on Sunday for my dance class and will return again in October, November, and December. Additionally, I plan to come back in January until July, as we have a tour scheduled.

Currently, I’m absolutely thrilled about the Italian edition of Strictly Come Dancing, Ballando con le stelle! The dancing is simply marvelous so far. Sending a heap of affection, I adore each and every one of you!
