As a huge sci-fi fan, I’ve always loved shows that play with the idea of alternate realities. It’s funny, Lost kind of dropped hints about a multiverse way back when, before anyone was really talking about it! But honestly, most shows don’t really dive deep into that concept. You get comedies like Rick & Morty or Futurama doing fun episodes with it, and Hyperdrive had some interesting takes, but it’s rare to find a serious thriller that builds its whole story around the multiverse. There are tons of shows about exploring space, like all the Star Trek series, but exploring alternate realities is still pretty uncommon.

I’m so excited to hear that Natasha Rothwell – you might know her from The White Lotus and How to Die Alone – is joining the cast of Hulu’s upcoming reboot of Cable Guy! It doesn’t have a title yet, but she’ll be acting alongside Jake Johnson (Minx) and Damon Wayans Jr. (Poppa’s House), who were fantastic together in New Girl. Natasha will play Gina, Steven Stephens’ sister (played by Wayans), and from what I understand, she’s going to be a really funny, quirky character with a bit of an edge – she’s living back at home after being injured.
