Despite facing accusations of domestic violence, Taylor Frankie Paul, known from the show ‘Secret Life of Mormon Wives,’ is still open to finding love.

Sources say 31-year-old reality star is dating Doug Mason, who is believed to be the winner of her season of The Bachelorette, which ABC has since canceled.

According to a source who spoke with Us Weekly on Tuesday, the reality star, originally from Colorado, and her partner, Mason, 28, are attempting to resolve their issues and stay together during a difficult period for Paul.

According to a source, they’ve been spending time together lately and are exploring the possibility of rekindling their romantic relationship.

The Daily Mail has reached out to a representative for Paul for comment but has yet to hear back.

As a lifestyle expert, I was really saddened to hear about what happened with Paul’s season of The Bachelorette. Unfortunately, it had to be cut short back in March when TMZ released footage from 2023 showing an incident with her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, and, very concerningly, her young daughter was present during the altercation. It was a difficult situation for everyone involved, and ultimately led to the season being cancelled.

A troubling video caused ABC to suddenly cancel Paul’s season only days before it was set to air.

Disney announced they are pausing the upcoming season of The Bachelorette after a recently released video came to light. Their priority is now supporting the family involved.

Following the news, Mason shared a video on his Instagram Story expressing sympathy for Taylor, stating that it should have been her time to shine, but something prevented it.

‘All we can do right now is just be hopeful, and I am headed off to run to watch the sunrise.’ 

Paul seemingly appreciated Mason’s compassion amid the intense backlash she was receiving.

‘Aw my heart goes out to him. So sweet,’ she replied on a repost of Mason’s clip.

Mason’s ABC biography reveals he grew up in San Diego, California, and has a history of surfing and lifesaving as a lifeguard.

Doug is skilled at handling life’s challenges, and his biography suggests he’s enthusiastically starting a new chapter with Taylor.

Paul has three children: eight-year-old daughter Indy and five-year-old son Ocean with her former husband, Tate Paul, and two-year-old son Ever with her ex-boyfriend, Mortensen.

Video from Paul’s 2023 arrest shows Mortensen attempting to convince the police to arrest him instead of her.

A TMZ video published on March 23rd shows Jake Paul and Jordan Mortensen arguing just as police arrived at the door.

Officers intervened as Paul became upset and started to cry while attempting to get a drink of water, following an argument. Mortensen informed the police that Paul was distressed and briefly described the alleged abuse he had experienced.

Mortensen said he’d experienced so much, he couldn’t fully describe it, and displayed injuries he attributed to Paul.

Paul then came back and told Mortensen she needed to leave right away. After Paul’s arrest, Mortensen offered to go to jail in her place, explaining he simply wanted her to receive the help she needed.

In February 2023, Paul was involved in an incident that led to charges of aggravated assault. He pleaded guilty to this charge in August 2023. As part of a plea agreement, four other charges were dismissed, and he is currently on probation, which will end in August 2026.
