The new comedy-drama Alice and Steve, starring Nicola Walker (known from The Split and Unforgotten) and Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords), will be available on Disney+ in June.
The streaming service has called the series sharply funny, focusing on the complicated relationship between Alice and Steve, who go from being friends to rivals. The story centers around Alice, who is heartbroken when her best friend Steve begins a relationship with her daughter, Izzy, fearing she’ll lose both of them.
Alice desperately wants to break up with Steve, but he anticipates her efforts. Their once-close friendship quickly turns into a bitter and intense conflict.

Described as funny, chaotic, and deeply honest about relationships, Alice and Steve is a fresh take on the romantic comedy. The film explores the lengths people will go to for both love and revenge.
Sophie Goodhart, known for her work on shows like Sex Education and Rivals, created and wrote Alice and Steve. This six-episode series will be available all at once on Disney+ in the UK starting Monday, June 8th.
