Pokémon Unite Feraligatr’s Movesets

Basic Attack

We will update these ability details when the Pokémon releases on May 8th, 2026.

Passive – Torrent

When Feraligatr’s health drops to half or lower, its moves become available more quickly – cooldowns are reduced by 2 seconds. Feraligatr evolves in stages: it starts as Totodile (levels 1-4), then becomes Croconaw (levels 5-6), and finally evolves into Feraligatr at level 7.

Ability 1 – Bite

Feraligatr attacks with its incredibly sharp teeth, hurting the target and making them move slower. Its next attack will also be more powerful.

Ability Choice at Level 5

At Level 5, Feraligatr will be able to use the following ability:

Crunch

Once Feraligatr learns this, it can switch between different types of fangs, each with a unique effect. Using the ability again chooses one of three effects to apply to its next attack and briefly boosts its attack speed.

  • Gluttonous fangs: When a basic attack hits, Feraligatr’s HP is restored.
  • Destructive fangs: When a basic attack hits an opposing Pokémon, that Pokémon’s Defense stats decrease.
  • Clamping fangs: When a basic attack hits an opposing Pokémon, it applies a slowing effect.

Ability 2 – Scratch

Feraligatr charges forward, slashing at opponents with its powerful claws. This attack deals damage and prevents them from moving on their next turn.

Ability Choice at Level 7

At Level 7, Feraligatr will be able to use the following ability:

Waterfall

Feraligatr charges forward, damaging opponents and boosting its own defense. The amount of damage and defense boost depend on how far it charges.

If Pokémon are close enough, they become unable to move. If they’re too far apart, they get launched into the air.

Unite Move

Feraligatr roars fiercely, briefly speeding up its move recovery time. Using its Unite Move a second time makes it charge forward and bite an enemy Pokémon, inflicting damage.

How much damage a Pokémon takes from the other team’s attacks depends on how many extra effects the move Crunch adds.

Pokémon Unite Feraligatr Gameplay Tips

This guide will teach you how to play Feraligatr effectively in Pokémon Unite and develop a winning strategy. We’ll cover both the early and late stages of the game, so be sure to read through the entire guide.

Early Game

When playing Feraligatr, it’s best to play in either the Top or Bottom lane. Early in the game, concentrate on earning gold and putting pressure on your opponents in the lane. Use your first ability, Bite, to damage enemies, slow them down, and make your next attack stronger. Make sure to follow up with regular attacks to deal the most damage possible.

Once you reach Level 3, use Scratch to quickly attack enemies, deal damage, and briefly stun them before moving back to a safe position. Be careful not to push too far forward, as you’re still vulnerable early in the game. Concentrate on earning resources, scoring points, and leveling up. Feraligatr becomes significantly more powerful at Level 5 when it learns Crunch.

Mid and Late Game

Once you reach Level 5, Bite evolves into Crunch, and at Level 7, Scratch becomes Waterfall, creating a powerful core combination. This combo is all about dealing consistent damage and keeping enemies under control. Use Crunch to switch between different bite effects and make your next attack even stronger – you can heal yourself, weaken enemies, or slow them down.

Once you activate the Fang effect, quickly move in with Waterfall. This gives you a shield and either stuns or throws back nearby enemies, helping you control battles and stay protected. Later in the game, Feraligatr’s special ability becomes very strong, letting you use your moves more often when your health is low. Take advantage of this, particularly right after using Feraligatr’s ultimate ability.

Feraligatr’s Unite Move is most effective in battles after you’ve already used Crunch. Activate the move to shorten the cooldowns of your other abilities, then activate it again to rush towards an enemy and inflict significant damage. The damage increases with each effect applied by Crunch.

Feraligatr’s ultimate move is particularly strong in close-quarters fights against opposing tanks. This gives your team a significant edge, especially when trying to secure important objectives late in the game, such as Goal Zones, Groudon, and Regieleki.

Positioning of Feraligatr

Feraligatr performs best in the Top or Bottom lane, allowing for efficient resource gathering and the ability to move between lanes to help teammates.
