Three Creatives Turn the Daily Grind Into a New Source of Inspiration

Artists often find inspiration in dramatic places, iconic people, or important moments in history. But what if inspiration could be found in the simple, everyday things we experience?

glo is launching “Feel Your Glo,” a project that transforms ordinary moments into art. They’re asking their online community to share stories about their daily routines – the parts that feel most repetitive. Then, a team of artists will take those stories and recreate them in new and interesting ways, using different art forms.

The project will start with DJ Marten Hørger creating a track inspired by feedback from the community. Then, illustrator Danii Pollehn will transform the music into a vibrant piece of visual art, using her distinctive style of bright colors and layered designs. Finally, German fashion designer Marcel Ostertag will combine the music and artwork into a striking sculptural garment. The goal is for these combined creations to help people appreciate the small moments in life and find inspiration to turn them into something positive.

The creative team will launch the project next month at the OMR festival in Hamburg, Germany. The festival will be a chance for the three participants to discuss where they find inspiration and how they approach their work.
