Astra: Knights of Veda set for closure on June 26, 2026, wrapping up its short-lived RPG run after two years

Story Highlights

  • Astra: Knights of Veda is a dark fantasy RPG known for its unique art-style and classic gameplay vibe.
  • You can request refunds for unused Rubies until September 28, 2026 after EOS.

Okay, so this is a bummer. DRIMAGE just announced that ASTRA: Knights of Veda, that RPG I’ve been playing, is shutting down on June 26, 2026. It’s crazy because it only came out in August 2023, and we even got a global beta on Android and PC that same year. So, after just about two years, the game’s going offline. Really disappointing to hear!

Devs bid farewell as continuing service is no longer possible

Astra: Knights of Veda is a fantasy role-playing game that blends a distinctive art style with the charm of older RPGs. Set in a dark fantasy world, the game lets you assemble a team of unique Knights of Veda – each possessing special skills and weapons – to conquer difficult dungeons and defeat formidable bosses.

The developers of Astra: Knights of Veda have announced that the game will no longer be available after June 26, 2026. In a statement on their website, they explained that while they hoped to continue developing and expanding the game with the community, difficult circumstances have made it unsustainable to maintain a service that meets player expectations.

You can play until EOS and request refunds afterward

After the announcement, the game no longer allows purchases within the game, but you can still download and play it until its servers shut down. Plus, they’re offering refunds for any unused in-game currency (Rubies). You can request a refund starting today until September 28, 2026.

However, there won’t be an offline mode for the game. I, along with many fans, believe a game with such beautiful visuals deserves a longer lifespan. One player expressed their disappointment, saying, “What a shame, this game had amazing art.” Others were already unhappy with the development decisions made for the game.
