Meghan Trainor is turning off the microphone.
The singer shared on Instagram that she’s canceling her upcoming tour, called ‘Get in Girl.’ She explained on Thursday that it was a difficult decision, made after a lot of thought and talks with her family, but ultimately the right one for them all right now.
Meghan Trainor explained she needs to focus on family right now. Between finishing a new album, getting ready for a tour, and welcoming their new daughter to a family of five, she feels overwhelmed and wants to be fully present at home with her loved ones.

Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara welcomed a baby girl on Wednesday, and Trainor shared the happy news. They expressed gratitude for their surrogate, calling her ‘incredible’ and a ‘superwoman’.
Trainor said she was sorry to her fans and assured them she’ll be returning quickly. She’s also excited for them to hear her upcoming album, ‘Toy With Me,’ which comes out on April 24th.
Trainor expressed her sadness about disappointing her fans and apologized for letting them down. She also shared her deep gratitude for their constant love and support.
Trainor revealed her Get in Girl tour in November, scheduled to begin June 12th in Clarkston, Michigan. The tour was planned to include performances at famous venues like Madison Square Garden in New York City and the United Center in Chicago, finishing with a show at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
Many social media users thought the tour was canceled because ticket sales were low, pointing to mostly empty seating charts on Ticketmaster. However, Chris Olsen, a friend and influencer close to Meghan Trainor, used TikTok to defend the tour against what he called harsh online criticism.

Singer Meghan Trainor and her husband, Daryl Sabara, welcomed their third child in January with the help of a surrogate mother. Trainor, who has openly shared her difficult experiences with her previous two pregnancies, expressed her deep gratitude to the medical team who made this possible in a post on Instagram.
Meghan Trainor explained that after many discussions with her doctors, they decided this was the safest path to expand their family.
