5 biggest revelations from From season 3 episode 6

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I’ve seen enough twists and turns to fill a sprawling labyrinth like the one in Fromville. The latest episode of this intriguing series was no exception, offering a tantalizing blend of suspense, mystery, and just the right amount of jaw-dropping reveals to keep me hooked.

In the most recent installment of “From”, the pace is somewhat slower than usual, but it’s no less intriguing. It’s brimming with surprising revelations and captivating details that promise to propel the narrative in the near future. The characters shift their living arrangements, Donna constructs a stone pile, or a cairn, in the pool for Dale, and Fatima receives a rather unnerving finding from Kristi.

Let’s recap some of the biggest reveals from season 3 episode 6.

1. A tale of two bottle trees

In Fromville, Jade has spotted exactly two bottle trees so far, though there might be a third if we recall the one Henry mentioned from their reality in Maine. However, for our current context, we can confirm that there are indeed two bottle trees. After Jade discovered these, he’s preparing a fresh chart to analyze the contents of the bottles in both trees. Together with Ethan, his aim is to begin piecing together why the messages within seem to echo one another.

The numbers appear to be the same, yet they are written in distinct fonts, suggesting they may have been penned by different individuals. Could these numbers represent an address or a year? It’s an intriguing puzzle, and it seems that Jade encounters Tom, a character who perished in season 2, who implies the tree might hold no significance whatsoever. This has me questioning whether the series “From” is veering towards “Dark,” and perhaps time travel is at play here. Might it be possible that Jade from another timeline or dimension placed those messages within the bottles for his past or future self?

2. Victor finally retrieves Jasper and Henry finds a surprise

Since it had been years since Henry and Victor last met, Henry is reluctant to let his son out of his reach now. When Victor discloses his intention to explore tunnels inhabited by monsters, Henry insists on accompanying him. Using toy soldiers as guides to avoid getting lost, Victor leads his father back to the location where he had previously spotted Jasper, the dummy.

In their journey further than planned, they eventually locate Jasper. At some point, they also encounter a few monstrous creatures, and one of them threatens Victor, saying if he continues, she’ll compel him to stay. Remarkably, Victor identifies a piece of clothing that once belonged to Miranda. This discovery raises questions: Could it be that Miranda has transformed into a monster? Or did she venture into the tunnels herself at some point? This is just another intriguing riddle in their ongoing adventure.

3. Shifting residences

It’s not entirely accurate to label it as a “revelation,” but the episode does provide an intriguing twist by suggesting that the characters Kenny and Randall are planning to relocate to new locations.

Kenny realizes that staying in the same house he lived in with his parents is no longer the right fit for him, especially as the Matthews family has made the place their own and Kenny believes his mother would have liked them to have the house. Randall confesses to Marielle that he’s lonely out on the bus and she offers him a place at the clinic. Interesting because I remember Boyd offering to switch with Randall before everything went down that night. I guess his injuries have made him reconsider.

4. The implications of Fatima not being pregnant

It took me by surprise; I honestly didn’t expect it. I had assumed that Fatima might be carrying a new creature, but as it turns out, based on the ultrasound results from the ambulance, she isn’t pregnant after all.

It seems like Fatima has a sudden craving for blood and spoiled vegetables. Could it be that she is transforming into a monster? If this is the case, what implications does this have on the process of turning into these monsters? Do they get to choose who turns, or is it by chance? Is it a one-for-one transformation, meaning if someone killed one, another person would turn into a monster? Also, it’s concerning that Elgin saw the spirit in a kimono appearing behind Fatima in the Polaroid picture he took of her.

5. Tabitha realizes she has more in common with Miranda

Toward the closing moments of the episode, I found myself engaged in conversation with Jade at a local tavern. As our discussion unfolded, my eyes fell upon some eerie sketches scattered about, depicting the peculiar wards we had stumbled upon near the lake and the quaint log cabins. Instantly recognizing them, I inquired of Jade if they were in proximity to three distinct red stones – a landmark I was well-acquainted with, given Jade’s prior encounters with those very stones in that region.

It seems that, just like Miranda, Tabitha may have had childhood dreams about this location. Not only Miranda and Tabitha, but Abby Stevens (Boyd’s wife and Ellis’ mother) mentioned having such dreams in an earlier season during a flashback. This leads one to wonder if Abby was also “chosen” like the other two. Given that both Miranda and Abby have since passed away, Tabitha’s experiences could be a cause for concern.
