Marvel Confirms Godzilla Will Destroy The Multiverse In Major Crossover Event

Some team-ups are simple, but this is something else. Godzilla is constantly battling to stay on top, refusing to yield to anyone. While fighting other monsters is typical for him, this time he’s up against some of the strongest heroes in comics – and so far, Godzilla is winning.

Get ready for a huge, universe-altering event this July! The new Marvel and Toho crossover, Godzilla Conquers the Multiverse #1, promises massive destruction, and it’s largely thanks to Knull – the ancient god who created the symbiotes – who is making Godzilla incredibly powerful, possibly more so than ever before.

This is the last of three crossover events created by Javier Garrón and Gerry Duggan, and the stakes are incredibly high – there’s no escaping what’s coming.

Godzilla Destroys Marvel Multiverse Before Avengers: Doomsday

As announced: Godzilla has been unleashed, and nowhere is safe! A terrifying team-up between Knull and Godzilla is taking over the Marvel Universe. Now, heroes like Doctor Doom, Spider-Man, Kang, Emma Frost, Ghost Rider, the Punisher, and Man-Thing are facing total destruction!

Okay, so things are getting seriously wild in this game. Apparently, Doomstadt is tearing through dimensions to grab some monster that can actually beat Godzilla. We’re running into all sorts of crazy stuff – giant robots, monsters from other universes, and even Red Skull decked out in unbreakable armor! It’s total chaos with universes getting destroyed, but there’s a hint that we might find an unlikely teammate who can help us actually survive all this.

This year has been full of exciting team-ups, with Marvel Comics pushing boundaries and surprising fans. When Godzilla enters the larger multiverse, and the powerful villain Knull gets involved, heroes and villains have to work together to stop a massive, universe-level threat.

Marvel Has Tried to Take Down Godzilla In the Past

Marvel has had to contend with the nuclear lizard and his atomic breath.

He’s appeared in Marvel comics before, notably in stories like Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe and several Godzilla vs. one-shots. He also made appearances in the Marvel Universe back in the late 1970s.

Working on this Godzilla and Marvel team-up has been fantastic from the start,” said writer Donny Cates. “It’s been a real pleasure collaborating with artist Javier Cabal and everyone involved to bring these two worlds together. We’ve created an ending that’s completely unexpected, with some beloved characters showing up late in the story and some truly wild action. Get ready for one final, incredible ride!”
