It’s a truly unforgettable game, and fans still play it regularly. That’s why it’s frustrating that a new installment hasn’t been released in nearly fifteen years. Fortunately, there are ways to enjoy Skyrim while we wait, and one downloadable mod can significantly update the game’s graphics to look more current.

In 2019, Paramount Pictures announced they were working on a new Face/Off movie. By 2021, Adam Wingard, known for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, was set to direct, having co-written the script with Simon Barrett. Wingard later suggested the film would be a direct sequel to the 1997 original. However, reports surfaced in 2025 that Wingard had left the project, and Nicolas Cage has since stated he hasn’t received any updates about Face/Off 2 since then.

I’m a huge fan of Studio Ghibli – those films are just magical, often telling stories about growing up and how we connect with the natural world. But while they’re famous for fantasy, Ghibli also makes some really thoughtful movies for adults. Honestly, they’ve built up so much trust with viewers that they almost are a genre all their own! Still, as much as I love them, I think anime fans are missing out if they only focus on Ghibli. There’s a whole world of incredible, moving anime out there from other studios that deserves a look, too!

Danny Boyle, the director of the original 28 Days Later, also directed 28 Years Later. Nia DaCosta then directed 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, with Alex Garland writing the scripts for both films. Although a third movie was planned, it’s currently on hold. Boyle recently told JoBlo that they simply didn’t have enough time to film it. However, production could potentially begin in 2027.

Marcia Lucas, an Academy Award winner for her film editing work on the original Star Wars (shared with Richard Chew and Paul Hirsch), passed away on May 27th in Rancho Mirage, California, after a battle with metastatic cancer. She also received an Oscar nomination for American Graffiti. Both films were directed by her then-husband, George Lucas. Her family’s attorney, Deidre Van Rock, confirmed her death.

The dramatic murder at the end of season 1, and Rhaenyra’s reaction, led viewers to expect a war between the opposing factions in season 2. However, season 2 felt slow and stalled, constantly hinting at an upcoming conflict without actually delivering it. The season 2 finale again teased a war, and now, in season 3, House of the Dragon finally appears to be starting the battle everyone has been waiting for. This could potentially offer a different, and perhaps more satisfying, conclusion to the Targaryen story, echoing themes from Game of Thrones and offering a kind of resolution for Daenerys Targaryen.

The most memorable anime don’t just have characters who fill space – their interactions drive the entire story, impacting everything from the plot’s key moments to the emotional highs and lows, and even the action. While strong protagonists are important, truly great anime are defined by supporting characters who are just as compelling and vital to the narrative. Whether it’s a team, a club, or a family, these anime feature casts that are among the best ever created.
