Lina Lapelytė’s exhibition, We Make Years Out of Hours, at Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin, created a captivating and all-encompassing experience. The project, supported by the CHANEL Next Prize, combined sculpture, performance, and installation to turn the museum’s historic hall into a peaceful space focused on repetition and the passage of time. This reflects Lapelytė’s continued exploration of themes like time, work, and shared experiences.

I just finished the first episode of Apple TV+’s Widow’s Bay, and while it’s a completely original story – not based on any existing book – it immediately struck me as something a Stephen King fan would love. It’s got that small-town mystery and creeping dread that King does so well, but what really surprised me is that Widow’s Bay doesn’t feel overly serious. Even in its scariest moments, there’s a touch of lightness, which is a really interesting choice and sets it apart from a lot of King’s work.

The new Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again, follows Matt Murdock as he returns to fighting crime as Daredevil after a year-long break. But when Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin, becomes mayor of New York and creates a team to stop vigilantes, Daredevil is forced to come out of retirement to battle Fisk and save the city from his growing corruption.

Despite claims to the contrary, the 2020s have already delivered a wealth of incredible games, and we’re only halfway through the decade! Several titles are already considered modern classics, and are poised to become cherished memories for gamers just like the retro games we love today.

As a critic, I’ve been following the post-Yellowstone universe closely, and the debut of Marshals on CBS with Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton was…interesting. While it’s drawing huge numbers – the most-watched show on both broadcast and streaming, actually – a lot of dedicated Yellowstone fans haven’t connected with the procedural format. It seems they’re holding out hope for Dutton Ranch, which is expected to pick up Rip’s story and, if the trailers are anything to go by, maintain that gritty, intense energy we all loved.
